I've used this several times already and have been pleasantly surprised. I had a Traeger for 7 years and this is definitely comparable.

My wife got me the smoker for father's day. It was easy to put together. I love the smoke and how it makes the meat taste. Low and slow is the way to go. It makes the meat s tender.

This grille turned out to be better than the traeger we had used before. It had a lot more grilling area, front mesh table was super handy. SUPER BUY and quality was good.

I bought this grill, put it together which was pretty simple. The next day I started it up and made some very good burgers. Two days later wanted to smoke a turkey and the grill would not come on. Imagine my surprise. Had to call the company for assistance and they shipped me out a new controller panel. I had to put the controller in.without any instructions, and now the grill is working(so far). Very frustrated that I spent $300 on something I had to work on after one use.

When the grill arrived the box was all dented in! So when we opened the box so was the grill. After hours of working on the the grill we finally got it to work. The dents in the grill kept the motor fan from turning. This was very aggravating because we had company coming to eat supper and it was delayed 2 hours because we had to work on our brand new grill!!

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it cooks amazing. The box was a little dinged up, and after putting it together, I realized the knob was broke off the temp controller. I though oh know, but after contacting embers grills, they rushed a replacement in 2 days! Other than that, this thing cooks awesome! Couldn't be more pleased!

The first purchased unit, the tempature probe failed. This caused the unit to feed more pellets into the fire box because it “thought” it needed more heat. The grill got so hot, burned the paint off of the bottom. Sams replaced it, and I had to pay for shipping. So far, replacement grill is working ok.

This is an average entry level pellet smoker. It works and cooks but does not have the features of a better quality smoker. Pellets will stack on the sides of the hopper due to flat surfaces on both sides. The grill plates are not cast iron and can not be cleaned with a wire brush. And there is not a trap door to clean the ashes from the heating element. Overall it's an entry level smoker and does not have the features of more expensive pellet grills. Clean up takes more time. It comes down to the question of price vs convenience. Be prepared to do some clean up on this unit but also be prepared to save money on this unit. Everyone has to make their own personal choice, I chose saving money and purchasing this unit.

My MIL purchased this same grill and the food she cooked was perfectly cooked! I looked at many others but I really like the fact that the pan under the grill is flat...NOT curved like all the others. This makes cleaning it super easy. Not to mention the fact that my food comes out perfectly cooked! Would definitely recommend!

I have used this grill almost every night since I bought it. Great features and easy to us once you get use to it. No recipes come with it but there are plenty online. I don't think I would go back to a gas grill after using this one. Can't believe I didn't buy sooner.
