I love the packaging and it smells amazing! Unlike other fabric softener that I used in the past, Gain Tropical Sunrise really gives my clothing really nice pleasant smells that last. One thing I LOVE about this product is the tropical sunrise smell, its absolutely wonderful and I love it! It's HE which is a plus and always like the packaging of gain products. I highly recommend this product not only to my family and friends but to everyone. Such a great product to have!

I use 1 capful in a load of laundry and my clothes smell so good and are so soft. Even weeks later your clothes smell wonderful. Strong enough to last a couple of days, but light enough not to get tired of smelling it. It truly does soften my clothes and I've found myself looking forward to getting dressed every morning.

When I put them back OMG they were so soft! The scent has even made my bathroom smell better! (hopefully that will last a while!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gain Tropical Sunrise fabric softener is truly a little bit of tropics bottled up. My washing machine is one that releases the softener into the load as it becomes ready for it, and I could tell when it was released from two rooms away! That's not to say that the smell is overwhelming--quite the opposite! It would be like getting a whiff of a slow-release room freshener or someone's cologne. All of a sudden, you would breathe in and say to yourself, "Oh! What's that smell?" A lot of fabric softeners smell good in the bottle or in the laundry, but don't always linger in your clothes afterward. That's not the case with this softener! I still take a little sniff of my freshly washed clothes to sneak a whiff of the aroma. In fact, just the other day, I washed my son's favorite blanket and he asked me, "Mom, how long does my blanket usually stay fresh? It still smells good!" and this was a few days after washing! He didn't even know that I had put in a little something extra that time! My clothes have likewise stayed smelling (and feeling!) fresh! The smell, as I mentioned, is a sweet, fruity/floral aroma that is not overpowering or overwhelming, but yet still strong enough to be enjoyed. In other words, a perfect balance! Also, the lid is conveniently marked for medium, HE large, or HE full capacity loads as well. I have been using dryer sheets until I tried this product, but I have found a new love!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my opinion, the Gain Tropical Sunrise Softener is pretty good but some small issues though. The bottle I have isn't way too thick, as a matter of fact, seems to be a tad thin. My washing machine is an older one, so I can understand the newer machines need thinner liquids. I do prefer something thicker than water though. The scent was a bit too light compared to my regular softeners, but I did like what little I could smell of it. My clothes were nice and soft, but not scented the way I thought they should be with Gain. I actually love the softness of my clothes with the Gain softener! The softness is a winner for me for sure. The bottle is a nice size and easy to handle which is nice for my weak hands. I'm gonna be trying the Gain fabric softener in other scents as I need more. I would recommend Gain for those who want nice soft clothes for sure!

One thing I noticed is that it doesn't seem to be as sensitive to sitting in the washer for a while before being transferred to the dryer. Other fabric softeners I've tried develop an unpleasant odor if the clothes spend more than an hour or so sitting in the washer before I manage to get them into the dryer. Since I'm not always Johnny on the spot just waiting for the washer to cycle through to completion, I appreciate a little extra flexibility in getting back to the laundry room to load the dryer. I would probably choose this fabric softener again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Downy girl my whole life. My mom uses it, my nana uses it. Step aside Downy! I have gotten my Nana to switch over. No residue. My clothes come out smelling and feeling fresh! I’ve tried to change out before and my clothes felt like they had a layer or something over them. Or they never stayed smelling fresh. It would last from the dryer to the laundry basket. Never until I put it back on. Oh thank heaven! My clothes smell great even when I wear them again!
