I've been using Gain Original Fabric Softener, and I really like the results. It leaves my clothes feeling soft, fresh, and comfortable to wear. This is fabric softener NOT detergent. It is awesome fabric softener and it smells like gain because it is gain. I think they should change the bottle color to a different color because sometimes we see and not read it and think it’s detergent.

It will whisk you away to an island paradise for a moment or two when you open the bottle. I typically don't use fabric softener in the washer, only dryer sheets for my softening agents. However, I think the Gain made my clothes, and especially my towels, feel softer than they typically do. And the soft tropical scent is very appealing. I won't have to use the scent supplements that I have been adding to my linens anymore. The cap doubles as the measuring cup and is clearly marked for easy dispensing.

The bottle I have isn't way too thick, as a matter of fact, seems to be a tad thin. My washing machine is an older one, so I can understand the newer machines need thinner liquids. I do prefer something thicker than water though. The scent was a bit too light compared to my regular softeners, but I did like what little I could smell of it. My clothes were nice and soft, but not scented the way I thought they should be with Gain. I actually love the softness of my clothes with the Gain softener! The softness is a winner for me for sure. The bottle is a nice size and easy to handle which is nice for my weak hands. I'm gonna be trying the Gain fabric softener in other scents as I need more. I would recommend Gain for those who want nice soft clothes for sure!
