I've always enjoyed scent of gain. Lately I have noticed that the gain softener has been a thicker consistency. The wash is not absorbing the softener well because of it how thick it is. I am having to manually clean this out because it remains in the holder. I am have 3 bottles of softener that I can't use and enjoy because I'm afraid this is going to damage my washer. Has anyone else noticed this when purchased?

Everything is so fresh! And soft. I love that I don’t have hair stuck to my clothes. I love the tropical scent, it’s not overpowering just pleasant!

I LOVE the smell of the Gain Tropical Sunrise Fabric Softener. The smell isn't too strong and it sweeps you away so you can imagine yourself on a tropical vacation, instead of doing laundry.This scent will forever be my new favorite!

The scent last longer and oh my goodness, to lay down every night to good smelling bed clothes is wonderful and refreshing!! I recommend this to everyone! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Gain Tropical sunrise is my new favorite scent. I'm a regular gain user. I use the detergent, scent boosters, and fabric softener. It was no surprise that Gain tropical sunrise fabric softener left my laundry soft, fluffy, and smelling wonderful, as this is always the result with Gain. I've recieved compliments on the smell of the beach towels washed with Gain tropical sunrise fabric softener and if it's like any other gain fabric softener the fresh and clean smell with remain on the towels and clothes for months. I'll never use another fabric softener outside of the Gain product line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gain Fabric Softner smells great while in the bottle. The problem is that I don’t smell it at all on my clean clothes. I will have to admit, it did actually soften the laundry up quite a bit and I didn’t notice any static either. Another thing that I didn’t like is that the instructions were pretty much nonexistent. They didn’t tell you when to add it to the machine; such as the wash or rinse cycle. It also wasn’t specific about where to put it. Some washing machines don’t have a dispenser, so in that case, where does it go? I really was not impressed.

I've used Gain fabric softener original for years because it smells so nice! I have to admit that I'm also a fast fan of Tide detergent but I decided to try Gain detergent to get the fragrance in the laundry loads that I don't use softener. I was disappointed in the smell. OK, two different products maybe just can't smell the same. Well, I guess it can! Today while doing several loads of laundry, I opened a new bottle of "original" when I only had too little of my" existing bottle. It did not smell the same! It did smell like the detergent though. The new fragrance is sort of "acid" instead of "soft". How do you explain the fragrance of Gain ? II just don't care for the "new Original"
