[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have created a perfect refreshing and comfortable place by adding this GE 12, 000 BTU 115 Volt Smart Inverter Window Air Conditioner. The installation was a breeze it comes so easy to mount it to the window. I love all of the features it has, and what is even more awesome is that is light saving so our pockets will not be attacked. I totally recommend this unit, first I was worried thinking of the noice, but oh was I wrong!....you can't even tell is on! it has met all of our expectations and beyond. 

This is my 2nd unit, I bought one last year for our bedroom and it's amazing!! So quiet first few time I had it one I actually had to walk up to it to see if it was still running, so impressed, I bought another one this year for our living/dining area. I didn't want to listen to a noisy A/C unit, this is definitely the way to go!!! If I needed a 3rd unit, this is what I'd buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Life saver during Florida summers. We put the ac in our garage two garage, that we use as our home office and also where our three dogs stay during the day when we are out. The ac is quite and powerful. It was easy to install with no problems.

All hardware needed is included in the box so you don't need to do a home Depot run or anything. My dens about 20x30 and in Florida heat it gets super hot but in about 2 minutes on high this ac unit cooled my den down with the bonus of it being super quiet. Now me and the family can actually use the space for entertainment.

I got this window unit about a month ago to help cool the two rooms in the upper area of our house and it's done a great job so far! Easy to install and crazy quiet. I knew this said it was quiet, but wow! I actually had to get used to hearing other little noises from the a/c as they're sounds I've never heard from window or wall units before as they were so noisy they got covered up. I've been running it mostly on eco/auto and it's been doing a great job. It's lightweight enough that my intention of installing it for summers, and reclaiming the window for fall through spring will be doable. Cons: Nothing specifically that would make me want to return it or not buy it again, but the not-excellent things would be that the app can be a little finicky at times. There is a fair bit of vibration in our wall, so when I put it in next year I'll add more padding to help reduce that. It doesn't quite fit right in the vinyl window's slot in this house, so it sits up a little bit. I'm going to guess this is something with at least some vinyl windows as I'd presume it's a quite standard size on the a/c. It's still in there securely at least, and I added a piece of wood to be able to secure it additionally. And, because it is so quiet, if I'm near it I can hear a slight high pitched sound from it. It's more because I can hear those sounds easier than most as my husband doesn't notice anything.

I bought this unit for a 2-bedroom apartment with a large living room, dining room and kitchen (600sq ft). I bought the support mount kit for it and it was well worth it, made installation simple. Plugged it in and it’s been keeping the room cool ever since.

It's quiet, as advertised. Works well and puts out cold air. I give it a 5 for those qualities. However, the face of the control panel is flat with no way to know where to press a button. The led lights are blurred instead of sharp. There is no light that even says that the unit is "on." When it's on, but powered down, you don't know that it's actually on! The remote control is not lighted either and it's hard to see the functions because the fonts are a similar color to the buttons. At night, you'll need a light to work the control buttons. I often onder if the engineers who design product like this actually use the same products.

This unit was very easy to install in the window as you just secure it to the window with some screws. It fits perfectly and is sturdy in the window. The noise level of this unit is great. I remember having window units before that were so loud it was hard to hear the TV...this one is not totally quiet but even on the highest setting it is easy to hear the TV or talk to others in the room. We like the fact that you can use the app to control it with out having to run all the way up the steps in case you forget to turn it off or even when our son is on the way home he can turn it on to cool the room down. This unit cools a room down quickly and keeps the room comfortable.

It is modern, sleek, and easy to use. The instructions are clear and concise and if you have any questions the customer service line is top notch. I highly recommend.

Unit was installed with little difficulty,ran great for the first two days,then started to be very noisy,a rattling sound sort of like a fan hitting,was very annoying,I was almost at the point to return the unit,I finally managed to quiet the unit down using a few love taps,the hi fan speed could be higher ,cold air exhaust is no lower that 54 degrees,hard to believe this is a 12000 btu unit,I have a 6000 btu unit that would put this unit to shame, it has a cold air exhaust temp of 42 degrees and a hi speed that would blow out a candle at 10 feet.
