As time has gone by, I would like to report one problem: The freezer door cracks open fairly regularly due to the low strength of the seal around the freezer door and due to the weight of items in the freezer door storage shelf. This is my only complaint.

I searched professional reviews as well as numerous consumers over a period of several months as well as visiting stores. I decided it had to be an LG, which didn't even exist when I purchased my current one. Wow! I am amazed by temperature control and evenness of distribution, flexibility of storage space, not to mention looks and how quiet it is. I knew when I first changed the hinges on the doors that this was a very well built appliance! I couldn't be happier. Why did I wait so long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is more roomy than I thought. The extra wide door shelves fit bigger bulkier items with ease. The crisper drawers are also big and deep. It is quiet. I am very happy with this fridge and the price was great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this refrigerator for about six months now. So far I am very happy with it. A basic refrigerator, no bells and whistles. I put a digital thermometer inside to monitor temps, and so far, consistent temperatures maintained in the fridge. The freezer, however, might be a little too cold. At the least cold setting, ice cream is frozen to a harder consistency than I would like. It is the winter however, so this is not a major criticism. I like the large door shelves and the adjustable main shelves. I love that it is energy efficient, and very quiet. I had read other reviews of problems with the freezer door opening when the refrigerator door is closed with too much force. This can happen a bit, but the freezer door quickly closes again. It might just be a matter of how well the appliance is leveled. Be warned that there is no light inside the freezer, though this is not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, great appliance at a great price.

There is ample shelves and drawers, and looks fabulous too! The stainless steel look is new to me, and I'm loving it!

The stainless steel gives it a pretty, clean look and it’s nice that there are no protruding handles. It’s roomy and efficient, perfect for our “extra” needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for about a month. Stylish, clean, modern...good storage for my needs. Only thing is a recurring gurgling/squelching noise, which is odd. But LG was quick to get someone out to take a look since it's under warranty.
