[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this refrigerator for about six months now. So far I am very happy with it. A basic refrigerator, no bells and whistles. I put a digital thermometer inside to monitor temps, and so far, consistent temperatures maintained in the fridge. The freezer, however, might be a little too cold. At the least cold setting, ice cream is frozen to a harder consistency than I would like. It is the winter however, so this is not a major criticism. I like the large door shelves and the adjustable main shelves. I love that it is energy efficient, and very quiet. I had read other reviews of problems with the freezer door opening when the refrigerator door is closed with too much force. This can happen a bit, but the freezer door quickly closes again. It might just be a matter of how well the appliance is leveled. Be warned that there is no light inside the freezer, though this is not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, great appliance at a great price.

It's perfect for the garage and would be perfect for a small family as an inside fridge. It's the right size for overflow of frozen foods and beverages that won't fit in inside fridge/freezer. It was also the best price I found for it's size!

Great refrigerator LG , plenty of space and draws, cools evenly top and bottom, the only thing missing was a light in the freezer, why was that not included , LG has excellent engineers! and I’m sure that the cost would have been minimal. This was my reason for the 4 stars , still a very good unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Originally failed to operate. First visit by repair person resulted in being told that I was leaving the door open. Prior to second repair visit bought thermometers for freezer and refrigerator. Temperatures were 29 degrees and 48 degrees respectively. Second repair visit determined that when the doors were reversed, a sensor switch for the doors was not aligned correctly to indicate door closure. Repair person corrected and unit works fine now.

It works well, ample storage for a single person. I wish there was a light in the freezer section, a cold meat storage tray in the fridge and the best would have been to have the freezer below not above. But given my old refrigerator had quit, I didn’t have the luxury of waiting. So yes, a good value for the price.

I've had this new refrigerator for about 3 weeks. My choices are limited because I live in an old house with ceiling cabinets that restrict height. So far I'm mostly happy with my choice. My old refrigerator/freezer had the air circulation vents in places that were easily blocked. The new one has them more strategically placed so we can maximize the space without restricting air flow. I like the design of the produce drawers too. In the old one they were angled in the back which limited what could go in them. There are a couple drawbacks that I've noticed in 3 weeks. While the freezer is within the temperature safe zone with the factory setting, the refrigerator is not. It only keeps it cold to about 45 degrees. I needed to move it colder a notch to get it to read in the safe zone. Also, the seal on the refrigerator door rubs on the lower corner of the hinge side and keeps the door from closing easily. I have to make sure to push it harder to get it to close. I'm expecting that may cause seal problems later on so I hope the Home Depot extended warranty will cover it if it fails. I've also read other reviews that mention the bottom of the door being low to the floor and catching their foot when closing. Yup, I get that too. And I have hit my head on the freezer when standing up after bending over to access something in the back of the refrigerator, but I had that problem in the old one as well. I do wish it had included the small drawer on the second shelf and some bin dividers for the door bins, but I do appreciate how quiet it is. I'd like to do a review in six months to a year to report back how it is holding up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro's The Interior space is spacious in both the refrigerator and the freezer. The humidity control for both of the Fruit and Vegetable drawers works great. My old one only sent humidity to one drawer. The fact that it's a energy star is good and it keeps things cold in the door too. Con's I wish it had the option to add a deli meat drawer. I wish the unit was on a pedestal or something as my husband and I are short people and you have to bend down so far Everytime you open the door. And when you stand up I can't tell you how many times I have hit my head. In 48 years we've never had a frig where this happens. I also wish one shelf in the frig was tall enough for a gallon of milk because I don't like me milk in the door.

Had it about 6 weeks. We bought it because it fit in the space provided. It is stainless and not smudge proof or anything close. When you open the refrigerator part you have to duck your head way down to see anything on the top shelf. So, unless you're fortunate enough to be 4 feet tall, its horrible.
