I bought this model because of its digital inverter compressor, which has a low startup surge and is very efficient. It keeps the refrigerator and freezer at the perfect temperature. I have been running it from solar powered portable power station with no problems at all, so it is ready for ac power failure emergency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator last month. It is a great value for what we spent. It replaced and old Refrigerator of a different make, but similar. The shelves are great and keep everything we keep in it at a good temperature. I set it once and that is it. It has plenty of space, the door shelves are deep and spacious. Our model does not have an ice maker (we did not need one, this being a second machine). The freezer section is very nice and open. Again, the door shelves are deep and generous.

Easy to empty quick and clean fast. Quiet as mouse, no clicks or screamings from under. Outside superb. Fingerprints easy to wipe from plastic covers. Enough room for food for family of 19.

I purchased the 20 cubic foot refrigerator for additional cold food storage and back up unit. The fridge is quiet. cant even tell that it is running. It has ample storage and bins for my use. It was delivered in a timely fashion, and was undamaged. I hope that this unit lasts as long as the one it replaced.

It fits more items than my previous one (which was not an LG) and the fit is perfect in my breezeway. I have received multiple comments on it and I highly recommend it. How do I feel now? Refrigerator installed mid-July. As of today, giving it a strong 4+ rating.So far all is good. Admittedly, I keep reminding myself I decided on a fridge smaller (from approx 22 cf to 20 cf) than I've had in past, so still adjusting to that. Pros: * Love the sleek look and "pocket" handle. Some mentioned door too close to floor, but no issue for me * Runs much quieter than previous fridge * Fruit/veggie bin performance best of any I've ever had * Sturdy glass shelves * Door bins - sturdy & will hold two gallon containers of milk * Freezer & fridge temps are holding my selected temps nicely. Cons: (again, acknowledging I downsized)... * Miss fridge meat keeper drawer a lot but such a drawer would eat up too much usable space * Doable but wish there was more fridge door storage - just enough room for my condiments and milk; bottled beverages now go on fridge shelves. In summary, pleased overall based on my downsizing decision and would recommend to others.

I could go for one small drawer in the 2nd shelf area but i bought a container to hold my cheeses and everything is functioning great. I was a little leery buying a tad smaller refrig than my last one but i am surprised at all the room that i have. Shelves are adjustable and the side pockets in the door are very durable.

My LG refrigerator is excellent a great addition to my kitchen. Love the lower profile. Purchased the icemaker and it works great freezer space is bigger than my last refrigerator. switched the door to opposite way easily done. No complaints only compliments on unit. Definitely recommend. KTSency
