[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 25-yr old fridge finally began wheezing like Darth Vadar and "weeping" (I hope that was weeping . . .) from the freezer compartment. It had served us very well and I knew LG is a great brand, based on several other appliance choices in the last 10 yr. I really had to work hard (due to pandemic slow downs, online glitsches, remote and rural location) but I finally found in white the LG I wanted - research online, great rating. I really wanted a little bigger one, but this is a second fridge and there was not enough room for a larger one in the spot it was going. Lucky me, not only did I find one local at a great price, but it was delivered in less than a week. Took me less than an hour to disinfect it (did I mention "pandemic"?) and remove all the packing, tape, etc. and reload all the food from the old one. Plugged it in and LG began it's magic. Chilled down fast. and it runs SO quietly, I actually felt I had to open the doors twice that first day just to make sure it was on! Granted, I did not need nor want an ice maker (which is available) - no water hook up nearby; and I still wish I had room for a bit larger size. But I am thrilled with the LG and look forward to at least another 25-30 yr of trouble-free operation and well-chilled foods and drinks!

It's hard to review after 2 weeks since, gee, it works when plugged in. We use this as an extra refrig in the garage so we weren't looking for feature-laden appliance. The features are basic but nice (solid shelves and nice LED lighting but cheap plastic for the drawers and bins - expected now on any refrig less than $3k). It cools well but we'll see what happens during the long South Florida summers. It replaced a Kenmore that seemed to have issues from the get-go and lasted less than 5 years. I've done countless research and concluded that every appliance manufacturer (Whirlpool, Kenmore, LG, Samsung, GE, Maytag, etc.) use the same cheap parts made in China and they are all 90% the same internally. No one builds appliances to last 15-20 years anymore, even the so-called luxury brands or high-end lines. I don't buy extended warranties as they generally don't pay off in the end. I will be happy if this lasts 10 years without any repairs. I've deducted a star because it's hard to give 5 stars for something that does what it should do out-of-the-box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally replaced the refrigerator that came with my house that was increasing humidity in home due to horribly leaky seals. After some use, I’m very happy with the amount of storage. I miss having a drawer for cheese and meat between the shelves and one has to be very careful not to stub one’s toe opening and closing the door because there’s very little clearance between door and floor.

The stainless steel exterior gives the kitchen a very chic look. The interior is spacious and well partitioned for all my groceries. I highly recommend this brand to all . Besides it is very inexpensive and easy to maintain.

I bought this fridge because I wanted something that would run quietly. It worked just fine for 51 weeks and then started making noise. The technician said the fan needed replacing. So the first disappointment is that it didn't even last a year without a problem. That was at the beginning of February, nearly two months ago. The part had to be ordered, and that has taken quite awhile, which is the second disappointment. The return visit to do the actual repair has been scheduled for the first week of April. In the meantime, the fridge has deteriorated further. It now sounds like a Boeing 777 most of the day and night, and is making a whole host of new noises. There is nowhere to hide in my open plan home; the noise, and the vibration it causes, is so loud that there is no peace even in my basement. Based on the noise it's making, I'm worried that it won't last until the repair can be made. Overall, not a great experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to go in the garage as a back up refrigerator for drinks in the fridge and bread in the freezer section. Initially, we had issues as our new house has gfci's in the garage, and this fridge kept tripping them and knocking out power to the unit. We ended up having a non gcfi outlet installed and since then the unit has worked fine. If I have one issue, it is with the freezer door. It does not appear to seal very well and each time I am in the garage I feel the need to make sure it is fully closed. Space wise, it does it's job and we can fit plenty of drinks and other items in both sections of the unit.

I bought a LG refrigerator for our home, and I must say this particular fridge is roomy and cooled right up within 30 minutes after I placed the food inside. Easy to maintain. (Wiping interior down/doors). Shelving is spacious for those bells and whistles. I also purchased the ice cube/freezer kit since I live in the desert in the middle of summer. Easy setup. Completely happy with this refrigerator. Thank you LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got thIS Frig as a replacement for the basement/ garage one that failed. I look forward to many years of holidays and family events that the extra room of this Frig provides. One question was I know that the 20 inch does not have the Light and the 30 inch does. Would LG be open to making a light only fit where the ice maker would be? You already have the hub and all you would need is the light adapted to the connection. I would buy it.
