I had several LG products and all of them ended their life for problems. I needed a new refrigerator and this one was available right away. I thought: it's a refrigerator, what can go wrong. Actually it's quiet, it uses little energy ... few flaws but not bad. After a little more than one year I found that one of the glass shelf had the plastic frame broke. After 3 weeks the second shelf had the same issue on the opposite side. 2 shelves on 2? It's not a coincidence: it's just how LG makes their products. After one microwave (expensive one), one TV, one ductless air conditioner and one refrigerator, finally I learnt my lesson. Goodbye LG: another customer lost.

I bought this refrigerator a month ago only because it is the only refrigerator that would fit in the allowed space in our kitchen-I really don't like top freezers. My issue is when I store something in a plastic container with a closed top the condensation in the container is unbelievable. eg, sliced strawberries have not been in the refrigerator 24 hr & look at the condensation & some actually turned spoiled. Had photos on cell phone but unable to upload to the page.

Living in an old, small house we have very limited space for kitchen appliances. We struggled with our last frig because to be honest it just didn't fit our kitchen - too wide and too tall - so it jutted out and even looked out of place - but we didn't think we would be able to find a smaller refrigerator that still had the same amount of space inside. Being big milk drinkers (up to 5 gallons a week) we definitely didn't want to reduce our refrigerated storage!!! As our old refrigerator began to fail we began to shop for a new one. We were utterly delighted to find this LG Refrigerator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Inside space is the same but the outside dimensions allow the frig to fit against the wall and under the cabinets where it was intended - HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Naturally we did our research before buying - read many positive reviews on various sites - and after using the frig for a month we are adding to those positive reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After having an LG vacuum sweeper and now this refrigerator we are COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE LG PRODUCT LINES and won't hesitate in saying WE HAVE BECOME LG CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this refrigerator and any other LG product for that matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fridge was large in cu. ft and very spacious inside. The temp control is perfect we have it in our basement to store extra things. Great buy can’t be happier looks nice to we got the White one and great price .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My opinion matters because, just prior to buying this fridge, i bought 3 U.S-made fridges in a row and had to return each one of them within the warrantee deadline. Then i paid a bit more and got this one. What a difference! Bright lights, perfectly cold, good space inside, and the strange thing is, you absolutely don't hear the motor, to the extent that i was first wondering how come the fridge was so cold while the motor was not working. it even looks so much better made than its predecessors, with glass shelves all over including on the doors, instead of metal grids. and I've had it for over 6 months now with absolutely no complaint or problem. the only reason my title was not "Excellent" period is that it doesn't have a cold-cut drawer. i recommend it without hesitation.

enjoying the maximum of space this model provides for it's size or footprint as this suits are kitchen size requirements...the only issue that I think could be improved is interior lighting set up as it seems somewhat dark in there, perhaps more lighting inside could be addressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent size for my top freezer refrigerator (not too large & not too small), fits perfectly in my kitchen. It has enough storage inside the refrigerator and a perfect size freezer. The color matches my other appliances, but even if it didn't, still it blends in with the kitchen faucet and the stove’s vent. The price was reasonable, which is very important (especially these days). All & all I'm very happy with my Top Freezer Refrigerator. Sincerely, Margo Lazar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top freezer appliances are not my favorite, but this was the only option In a small space. This is a very simple refrigerator with few highlights. The freezer section is simply a box, so it gets pretty disorganized. The refrigerator section has the bare minimum two drawers at the bottom, a place to put butter, and that is about it. I prefer side-by-side or bottom bottom freezer units, but there was nothing available at the time we purchased this refrigerator because of the limited space in our kitchen.

I look forward to many years of holidays and family events that the extra room of this Frig provides. One question was I know that the 20 inch does not have the Light and the 30 inch does. Would LG be open to making a light only fit where the ice maker would be? You already have the hub and all you would need is the light adapted to the connection. I would buy it.
