I bought this refrigerator in June 2024 to be used at a vacation property. It has never cooled properly since original purchase. I had someone to come out and repair the appliance in April 2025. Now 2 months laters, the appliance is again no longer cooling, and also has a huge leak. So had to put in another repair request, and try to function with a leaking, barely cooling refrigerator. Do not buy this appliance.

I bought this refrigerator 5 months ago and it suddenly stopped cooling. It took 3 days for a LG technician to come, resulting on a lot of food spoiled. He told me just to defrost it. Done it and for 3 days, it seemed back to normal. But as soon as I went grocery shopping, cooling became a problem again. LG doesn´t seem to know how to solve the problem. If I keep the fridge half full, I get nice 3 to 4 degrees. As soon as I get it full, it goes to 9 to 10. I would avoid this LG refrigerator at all costs.

I bought this for my garage as an addition. Refrig and freezer do NOT get cold enough. NO light in freezer. No thermometer as to tell what temp it is. Had to go out and buy two just so I knew. Guess you get what you pay for. Is so so for a garage not in house.

I bought this fridge because I wanted something that would run quietly. It worked just fine for 51 weeks and then started making noise. The technician said the fan needed replacing. So the first disappointment is that it didn't even last a year without a problem. That was at the beginning of February, nearly two months ago. The part had to be ordered, and that has taken quite awhile, which is the second disappointment. The return visit to do the actual repair has been scheduled for the first week of April. In the meantime, the fridge has deteriorated further. It now sounds like a Boeing 777 most of the day and night, and is making a whole host of new noises. There is nowhere to hide in my open plan home; the noise, and the vibration it causes, is so loud that there is no peace even in my basement. Based on the noise it's making, I'm worried that it won't last until the repair can be made. Overall, not a great experience.

Put it on the inside wall in our garage, which is just outside our kitchen door. This model is much roomier than we expected. And it keeps COLD. We are really quite happy with this model, which we've been using for the past 3 months without issue. We'd read that the freezer door might not close completely, so we just double check that it is tightly closed. We've never had a problem. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My opinion matters because, just prior to buying this fridge, i bought 3 U.S-made fridges in a row and had to return each one of them within the warrantee deadline. Then i paid a bit more and got this one. What a difference! Bright lights, perfectly cold, good space inside, and the strange thing is, you absolutely don't hear the motor, to the extent that i was first wondering how come the fridge was so cold while the motor was not working. it even looks so much better made than its predecessors, with glass shelves all over including on the doors, instead of metal grids. and I've had it for over 6 months now with absolutely no complaint or problem. the only reason my title was not "Excellent" period is that it doesn't have a cold-cut drawer. i recommend it without hesitation.

I bought this from just a picture online and when it arrived I was very pleased with the purchase. Very room inside and most importantly it maintains a steady temperature. Extremely quiet. I never hear it turn on. Nice lines and clean finish. No attached handles to collect dirt. Very well designed.
