[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Purina Dog Chow for over 20 years. It is high in protein and keeps my dogs coat shiny. I will continue to feed my dogs Dog Chow for as long as I have them. It's also affordable for people like me that have several large breed dogs.

I have 8 dogs who vary in size from 2lbs (yes you read that right-shes even to small to be spayed!) to 89lbs. They all love it and are extremely healthy. My oldest is 14. My big dog was an elderly rescue in terrible shape found on road. He had no hair and needed alot of vet care. With love and purina, the old man is looking and feeling better than ever. The vet is amazed. Can't say enough about it. Not to mention its very affordable and my dogs have nice solid poops. Funny because in my pantry there's always a giant bag of this and Cat Chow. Thanks Purina!

I made the mistake of switching from Pedigree to Purina Dog Chow for about 6 months. At first, there wasn't much change, but then I noticed my dogs get weaker, eating grass and dirt whenever they could, and they got sick a lot more. I switched them back to Pedigree and they instantly perked up and haven't been getting sick or trying to eat grass and dirt. Apparently Purina doesn't have all of the nutritional value that dogs need.

We go through about 5 of the 16.5- 18 pound bags a week. Our dogs scarf it down and are healthy and full. This is the only dry dog food that we buy.

I have Owned Dogs all of my 50 some years. Purina Dog Chow In The Green Bag Is All I Have Ever Feed Them. If i had a puppy i feed Purina Puppy Chow To Start With, My Dogs Have All Lived To Be Over 20 PLUS Years old Thanks To Purina.. I Always Buy The 55Lb If I Can Find It. If Not I Get 50Lb This Is The Best Dog Food Made. My Dogs Love And I Love It Too.

I wasn't happy with how my dog was affected by those brands. I then went to Purina Dog Chow Complete. He loves it, it doesn't affect him, and it's been over two years complete satisfaction. The next time I change his food will be when he is ready for the senior formula of Purina Dog Chow. Great product line!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hound dog Hemingway was a very sick puppy few months ago. He contracted Parvovirus. Yes, he was immunized but it still happened. I stayed with him night and day , administered all the necessary IV's in his body and all the drugs he did not want. Well, he pulled through. but lost about 10lbs. He was so skinny and did not have a big appetite. Then I bought a Purina "Dog Chow" and my "little" guy is now 110 lbs. Of course he won't eat anything else than his favourite -Dog Chow. Thank you Purina.

Got this only because my dogs needed food and I had to be quick. When I opened the bag I found this white web stuck inside the bag above the food. Then as I looked on the sides there were worms on it. Then there was worms literally crawling in the food. Made me want to vomit. Don't buy it

My family has always used purina dog chow for as long as I can remember. When I got my own dog I decided that was what I was going to feed her. She likes it and have had no issues up until this last bag I bought. I have found larvae of some sort in it. I saw it in her bowl and freaked out. Then I seen it in the rest of her dog food. I am udderly disappointed and disgusted. I shouldn’t have to worry about what I feed my fur baby. I shouldn’t have to worry about larvae being in a bag of dog food. I looked through our other two dogs food (one is the same brand the other is not) all are stored in the same area. So this is something subject to the bag I purchased. When I looked up if anyone else has had this problem they said that they have! What a horrible and shameful thing to do!
