Our dog has always eaten this dog food right to the bottom of the bag. She has always loved it. But with the new formula with the brown cylinder shaped pieces, she won’t even touch it. It’s so sad because she’s rather not even eat at all then even touch it. Only giving this 2 stars because she used to love it, but that isn’t the case anymore.

I have had my dogs on purina since puppyhood. They absolutely love it. When I go away, I always leave can food for a treat so they feel extra special. At home, I will sometimes add water to their food and the aroma is absolutely wonderful. They really love meal time whether I add water, wet food, table food (potatoes, egg, carrot, yogurt, Ext...), or leave it dry. Never have any problems with my dogs eating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been keeping this product stocked in our house since we have started using it. We tried others in the beginning however this is good on their stomach and keeps them happy long story short thank you for helping us to keep our dogs we love healthy and happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my husband brought Trix home from the shelter. He said that poor dog had been treated badly so it was going to be nothing but the best for his new baby. He bought her Purina Dog Chow Chicken Flavor and that's the only food she's eaten in 4 yrs now. She's a mix breed with a beautifully shiny coat that people everywhere comment on. We trust Purina to protect our precious pooch's digestive tract.

I have five big dogs. Three are mine, two I foster. Feeding them all can get pretty expensive! I go through almost 200 pounds of dog food a month. After having tried umpteen different brands of dog food, I got the life scared out of me when one of the cheaper brands made two of my dogs VERY sick! And I KNOW for a fact it was the cheap food because just as soon as I switched them to Purina brand - ALL of the illness went away! Now I just take one can of chicken broth and sprinkle all five bowls with it. They scarf it up! I get a LOT of compliments about how "fit" my dogs look! I will NEVER change brands again!

I bought THIS and switched my dogs over now they won't touch no other dog food. They love this stuff. On top of that it keeps the coats in great shape and healthy and shiny. It keeps then helthy and and gives them all the energy they need. My male border collie can clear the fence all day long and not get tired. He loves doing that. It was the best decision switching them over to this dog food and the greatest one ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been feeding our shepherd mix Dog Chow Complete Adult since we adopted her several months ago. Not only does she love but her body has reacted very well. She was a little skinny when we got her, so she has put on some much needed weight and also tons of muscle! Her coat is shiny and she is overall much healthier. As a 75lb dog, she eats almost 50+ lbs of food per month and Dog Chow is a great price.

My dog has eaten high dollar dog food all of his 8 years. He has struggled with illness a lot. He is a very picky eater. I switched to Purina and have not had to switch again. He likes it and eats it every day. Before I would switch again and again because he would not eat. Now all is good. He is happy and healthy. Yes his health is improving. Thank you for being mindful of your product quality and the health of my best friend Johnny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had remarkably good results feeding Purina Dog Chow to our dogs for more than 30 years. We credit Dog Chow for giving them the nutritional foundation that allowed two of them (both considered "large") to enjoy healthy, happy lives for almost 15 years. We expect to see similar results with our current family members, Baxter and Lexi. The bonus is that they appreciate what apparently is the outstanding flavor of Dog Chow Complete Adult. Win-win!
