[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had dogs my entire life. We have always fed Purina. Puppy Chow the first year and Dog Chow from then on. We now own two Golden Retrievers and they have been raised on Puppy and Dog Chow and are healthier than our friends pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I having been feeding my 4 dogs, (1 Shihtzu, 3 Shelties) Purina products their whole life. First Puppy Chow and now Dog Chow. They love it!! They eat their bowl of food so fast by the time I put it down then turn back around its gone. they are all in great health and I do believe its due to the great quality of food they eat. My oldest dog is now 11 years old and has only been to the vet for routine shots. Again, I believe due to a lifetime of Purina.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My black lab mix has eaten nothing but Purina Dog Chow ever since she became an adult, which is almost nine years. She has never had a medical or weight (she has weighed 55 lbs. for her entire adult life) problem (we feed her according to the directions on the package), and her coat shines. She has good tooth and gum health also.

We have fed our dogs this product for many years. Recently, Purina changed the composition of the chow, and our dog spits out the little cylindrical pieces all over the house. She hates the new formula. I had an 8 month old bag which was lying around, and it doesn't have the cylinders. She loves this food. I am assuming I can't get the old formula any more, and I am going to have to change what we give her. Please get rid of the cylindrical pieces

He is now 2, and has eaten nothing but Purina Puppy & Dog Chow, and not for lack of trying other things. We had him try several other brands and he would only eat them when he was absolutely hungry, and even then he would pick through the food. Once we had him on Puppy Chow he "housed" the entire dish. We tried moving him to some new food types in the Purina family, but until we gave him Purina Dog Chow, he did not seem satisfied. That is all we buy now, and he loves it.

I've been using your product for 6 years the last year I've had moss's in all my bags of food.had to have my house exterminated I'm going to be changing his food I can't understand what it is I think you have the moss's in your factory. This is a very serious situation. I think this could make an animal sick if they're infested in the bag

20 years ago, before all the grain free and holistic dog foods appeared, I had a Great Dane that grew up on Purina Dog Chow. He lived 11 years and never had any health issues. 3 yeas ago I got another Great Dane and was sucked in to all the grain free hype. I fed him what I was convinced was better than Purina. First three ingredients were meat, no corn, no grains, etc.... He never looked as good as my first Dane. His bones and muscle didn't develop right and he was gone before he reached 2 years of age. Today I picked up yet another Great Dane puppy. He's going to definitely be a Purina dog from day one!!! Don't buy into the sales pitch of the new "premium" brands. Stay with the company that has cared for dogs for over 80 years. If sweet potatoes and blackberries were truly essential to your dogs health I'm sure the trusted scientist at Purina would have realized that long ago.

My chihuahua has eaten Purina for most of his life. Just back from the veterinarian last week, and a thorough physical complete with blood work can find nothing at all wrong with him. He's bouncy and perky and playful, and as far as modern medicine can determine 100% healthy. The doctor said that "at this rate, we'll be having this same conversation again 5 years from now!". I hope so. My dog is 17 years old.

I had been feeding our dogs the naturals and it was recieved like feeding tour kids vegetables..they ate it but werent happy about it. Back to the original formula and they are back to their 4 legged happy dance at dinner time! So glad that there are options that they love with a brand I trust!

There are a lot of other foods out there and I have even tried a few others but I always came back to Purina Dog Chow. The nutrition is 100% and my dogs never over eat the food. We follow the feeding guidelines and we always get told by our veterinarian what great body condition they are in. They also have great coats and a lot of energy. Purina knows what it takes to make a great food.
