I have been raising boxers since 1987 and that is all I have ever fed my dogs . Beautiful coats with no allergies. I gave my granddaughter a boxers Guinness she decided to feed him the better dog food as she says now he has allergies but now I have switched him on beyond Purina and his allergies are improving daily I have always recommended Purina to all my puppy parents excelled dog food ever

this has been my go to product to buy for all my dogs. I run a dog shelter and i have 4 dogs of my own. I have bought 3 bags that have not been the same. I at first thought my dogs at home were just not liking the food but I have had starving dogs not eat it. it has happened to me I'm 3 different occasions! i don't like switching dog food because this helps dogs maintain weight and keeps them healthy but I'm very dissatisfied shen i spend a lot of money on dog food and then i get a faulty bag!

For over forty years I have fed every dog I have owned Purina Puppy/Dog Chow. All the dogs have been extremely healthy and shiny coated. And they really seem to enjoy the taste! Also a great value. I wouldn't think of feeding one of my dogs anything else.

I have had a male Lab who ate this all his life until he died at 15 years old. Always ate it. My 6 year old female lab also eats it, loves it and is very healthy. We had 2 litters of puppies and fed puppy chow and they loves it. I also have a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and I was told to give him the expensive no grain food because of their sensitive stomachs and it controls their bowels. We tried 3 different once in the first year to figure out which one he liked, but very expensive. I took him to vet when he was one, the vet said I can give him whatever I want, so I switched him to Dog Chow and he loves it, eats right away and his bowels looks the same as before. He is a happy dog, eats what he needs and he looks great, not overweight. This food has worked great for all my three dogs and obviously it proves it is good food since my lab lived until 15 years of age. I love it and the price is right. Can't go wrong. I might try the all natural at one point.

I personally have been feeding all my pets Purina products for years. I feed every dog this food. They all love it!! It's affordable and made in USA. I highly.recommend any pet owner to feed this dog food to your pets. My pets are very well cared for and vetted and we've never had any issues with feeding this food. I totally trust and love all Purina products!!! As an animal rescuer, we trust this company to make safe N nutritional products. Our dogs love this dog food.

I made the mistake of switching from Pedigree to Purina Dog Chow for about 6 months. At first, there wasn't much change, but then I noticed my dogs get weaker, eating grass and dirt whenever they could, and they got sick a lot more. I switched them back to Pedigree and they instantly perked up and haven't been getting sick or trying to eat grass and dirt. Apparently Purina doesn't have all of the nutritional value that dogs need.

I have had all of my dogs on Purina dog food from puppy all the way up to adult hood. My dog thrives on dog chow. His coat is shinny, he doesn't have any problems with digestion and eats it with no problem. I would not change his food unless it was absolutely necessary. Love dog chow

This recipe was reformulated earlier this year. There's less chicken and more filler. It now causes looser yellow stool in my dogs. The price increased and the bag sizes shrunk as well. I'm switching to Diamond's Hi-Energy formula. I give this a fair rating as it's still above Ol' Roy.

I purchased this for my dogs last month on a hope to try something new for them that would they would like because other foods have been just lingering around in their bowls. SUCCESS!!! Empty bowls every time :) thanks Purina. I am one happy customer!!!
