Great price for dog chow. These bags are huge and definitely a savings vs the smaller bags, this brand is a trusty go to for our family dogs from our rescue dogs to our pure bred dogs. The food is quality and the bag is big enough to last us quite awhile.

Nope never again will I buy this! Upon opening the bag of dog food, it looks like it had gotten wet and then dried and started to grow some kind of white fuzz on it and this was right after I opened it, and the smell was absolutely terrible, it took my Breath away ugh… it smelled like a musty old cellar! I would not feed this to my animal ever not even if his life depended on it!!! I will never buy this brand again. That’s what I get for trying to save money. My dog was like what the heck I’m not eating that I threw the whole bag out n because I need to renew my membership I can’t get a refund until I pay to have another year of membership for rotten stuff I don’t know if I’ll ever go to sams club again

My German Shepherd has quite an appetite and is a wee bit spoiled. I fill his bowl with the dog chow and often (but not always) add a bit of cottage cheese, shredded cheese, or a homemade mixture of meat, no salt added green beans and carrots as a topping. Granted, he eats the topper and some of the dog chow right away, but he always goes back and finishes the plain dog chow too.

I purchase this for the little lords of the forest, mainly for Raccoons, O'possums, Chipmonks, Squirrels and Crows. They all seem to love the flavor and crunch. Now it is baby nursing time so the Mamas know where to come for food and water when needed.

I have tried many other dog foods, but I come back to this one. My dogs eat this as a staple with a little treat mixed in or plain, but they eat it. It is complete on its own, that is why I like to give it to them. They have shiny and soft coats and healthy skin. It helps to maintain their weight without a lot of fuss and the awful hungry pangs, and it is good for older dogs too. Also, it doesn't matter if they are high energy or a couch potato, I have had both types of dogs.

Bear doesn't like it, I usually feed him Purina One but couldn't afford it this month ( car problems) so I purchased Purina Dog Chow, Chicken flavor. He's an Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix and he eats a lot. In couple of weeks Ill get him Purina One again but this is good dog food!

I have used this dog food for many many different dogs. It provides the nutrition needed for healthy dogs . Raised almost 10 different dogs with this over the years My dogs are happy healthy and loved cannot go wrong with this great food at great price

Dog chow has been my go to dog food, after trying pro plan which disagreed with my pups intestinal track and was high $, dog chow goes back to the basics, corn based first instead of the fancy protein- meat based diets of expensive brands, later found out from the vet alot of dogs cant tolerate they way the protein is processed and not a wheat or corn allergy like many think. Thanks Sams club for carrying it !

This bag of dog food is a must have for your dog or dogs. For the price of a 10 to 15 lb bag at a grocery store you get something bigger here that lasts twice as long. The only thing negative os that it is.not resealable which should be for a bag this size to keep it fresh.

We have always fed our Dogs, Purina Dog Chow. Going back 3 generations. We live on a farm and our dogs usually live at least 12 years, if not more. They get plenty of exercise and we find that with Purina, they have energy and are healthy and strong.
