These have always been pretty solid foods, but the ingredients in the food can be misleading. My dog is allergic to chicken (a lot of dogs are), so I was excited to see a lamb based food. About a week after putting him on this food I started noticing him itching a lot, and having a "yeasty" smell to him. I checked the ingredients on this food and the 2nd ingredient is chicken meal. I'm beyond irritated about this.

I dont even want to give this one star! After slowly switching my dogs to this food over a period of 2 to 3 weeks... one ended up with acid reflix and ER vet from nausea and vomiting. Then explosive diarrhea. The other very gassy, burping and loose stools. We converted back to purina pro plan lamb and rice and they are back to normal. Dont go cheap on dog food. And this does have chicken. The 2nd ingrediant is chicken meal. So I am 1300 dollars in vet bills and thankfully the other one did not get as sick. And our 3rd dog has a steel stomach so he seems fine. Throwing the rest of this bag away.

I have two dogs, a Great Dane mix and a Dashaud mix. I had always used Purina, they seemed to enjoy it and I am a creature of habit. It's been out of stock a lot lately, so I decided to give this food a try. My dogs absolutely love it! They get so excited when we start opening their food container, the little pup starts whining and dancing. I know it's recommended to gradually switch, to mix old and new food. But they weren't having it, they just wanted the Lamb and Brown Rice. It didn't seem to upset their tummies, they're doing great! I definitely recommend it, my dogs approve!

Picking the best of the worst this one comes in first place. it's affordable the first 5 ingredients are great the only downfall is it's ALWAYS sold out! And you never know when they will get restocked. Sam's, why don't you order more knowing this product flys off the self? I have been checking your website for the past 3 days and still nothing. Unacceptable!
