Good at first

Our dogs liked it at first, but then we got a bag that smelled terrible. The dogs wouldn’t touch it. We switched to a different brand and haven’t had an issue since. Not sure what happened but wasn’t good.

Bad dog food and poor support.

The dog food had some unidentified white stuff on parts of it and those groups were stuck to the inside of the bag. I had fed my dogs with the food until I noticed the white stuff and my three dogs were having diarrhea. I bought another bag and it seemed ok and my dogs diarrhea stopped. I called Sam's and talked with a person who was obviously from another country and I got a $12 gift card for my troubles. What about the bad bag? I've got to take it to Sam's to get a refund. I'm not! It was delivered and if Sam's wants it back they can come get it. I getting very sorry service and products from Sam's and I will soon be quitting my membership.

BEWARE: Contains Chicken!!!

Imagine how disappointed I was to lug 90 lbs (three bags) home for my new puppy, only to find out that the Lamb and Rice formula contains chicken meal as the second ingredient! Are you kidding me? I bought lamb and rice because my Great Pyrenees is allergic to chicken. After two trips to the vet, I finally examined the ingredients, and was shocked to see chicken! Why does it feel that as a consumer, we are constantly being taken advantage of by the market?

Disappointed with Changes

I have been feeding my large dogs Members Mark premium dog food for years and was satisfied until the recent change in both the dog food and the packaging. My dogs do not like it as well as the previous formulation and the packaging is absolutely horrible. I have tried all three varieties and the dogs definitely preferred the old formulation. And I can’t say enough about the inferior packaging. The bags are difficult to open and tear easily. The old bags were sturdy and had a wonderful zip top opening which allowed the user to easily store and keep the dog food fresh. That is not possible with the new packaging. I gave the old formulation and packaging 5 stars, but can only give the current versions 2 stars. I am strongly considering switching to another brand of dog food.

Cost of dog food

My dogs have come to love this dog food. But I believe you have double the price for no other reason then to price gouge your customers. MM brands are one of the most inexpensive items in your store and you have more the double the price. Shame on you for taking advantage of this scam. With the fake pandemic and people losing their jobs you decided to raise your prices to make your customers suffer even more. SHAME ON YOU. ISNT THE WALMART FAMILY RICH ENOUGH? If you really cared about your customers who have to pay to shop at your store try doing the right thing and show a lot more compassion and give your members a helping hand. God rewards those who help others. Thank you for your survey. Hopefully it won’t fall on deaf ears!!

Surprisingly Good

My 2yo dog (Belgian Malinois) has always had soft stool and skin allergies. I've always mixed dry and wet food for him. His previous food were Purina Pro Plan and Iam's for dry with Farmers Dog and Purina Pro Plan for wet. I've also previously tried Orijen and Acana premium brands. All basically same result. With rising prices, I decided to look at some more economical options. My vet has insisted to avoid grain-free foods due to studies pointing to heart issues. So I did some exploration and found that Dogfoodadvisor.com gave the Members Mark brand a very high score of 5 stars (highly recommend). I reviewed their analysis and details to find that the food appears to be high quality consist with other premium brands. And the cost was dramatically less at Sam's Club. So I decided to give it a try. First, my dog seems to love this food (more than others). He's not super picky but he wastes no time with devouring this food. Second, an unexpected benefit has been that he now has had consistent well-formed stools every day. His stool also seems to smell less. His allergies have also subsided but this may be attributed to the changing of the season and allergy levels rather than food. I'll have a better gauge after a year. Overall, I'm really happy that this food appears to be high quality, affordable, healthy and delicious to my dog. I have to admit that I was very hesitant initially. I am extremely picky about food and treats for my dogs and their countries of origin. And honestly, my perception is that Walmart/Sam's make their products with the absolute lowest cost (and thereby lowest quality) to offer a cheap option. So far, this food has started to shift my perspective. I hope that this food continues to perform well and no issues or concerns. I have a feeling my vet may take issue with this brand but we'll see at my dog's next annual exam in the Fall. So far.. it's been surprisingly good.

Something is Off Don’t Buy

Love the idea of the ingredient list, with glucosamine and better sources protein but my dogs refuse to eat this or the beef flavor. No more Members Mark for us. 5 year old great pyrenees/german shepherd mix and a 1 year old lab/hound and they’re experiencing clear digestive distress, from both ends. Something is really wrong here.

Very good ingredients and $20 less than Blue Buffa

I really like this dog food from Member's Mark. Both the ingredients in the price great. I used to give my dog Blue Buffalo but upon reviewing the ingredients in Members Mark Lamb dog food I noticed that the ingredients in Member's Mark were better than blue buffalo. And, it comes in at about $20 cheaper for 35 lb. My dog really likes it and life is good.

Ingredients not labeled clearly on front

This dog food had chicken meal. It's not just lamb and rice as it used to be. Our dog has a severe chicken allergy, so make sure you read the ingredients and don't assume that because it says lamb, that you're actually getting lamb. Our dog was sick for days until we realized it may be the food and looked the ingredients up.
