Appears to be a new formula, the food looks different and it definitely smells more. I’m guessing they made an ingredient change and it does not seem to be favorable.

Just didn't work for us.

Unfortunately our dogs really liked the Sam's brand of dog food. When it was recalled we substituted this and it did not go over well. We ended up returning 3/4 of the bag.

The best dog food that's readly available

I've been using this brand of dog food for over 20 years now and I have NEVER had any issues feeding this to my dogs. I breed and show Great Danes, and the Lamb and Rice formula has always kept them in great show weight, and their stools are right on the money. It is a budget friendly professional food that can be found regularly. I found that Sams Club has the best price on this food and I usually buy it from there.

Price keeps going up

My dogs love this dog food. I dont love that its went up almost $20 in a 2 year period. In fact the price it is now $58/bag, which is what high end dog food cost about 5 or 6 years ago....would not quite call this high end. It's gotten super expensive and it irks me that I'm paying this much for dog food every week. But I love my dogs and they will eat no matter what I have to do. These companies are getting us at every turn.
