[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog has been on this formula for years & loves it when the quality & consistency of the food in the bag is on point every time…but it’s not. Some of the bags I have bought, literally have a chemical smell or have more food “dust or particles” than should be in the bag. I found it’s certain lot #’s, so I take it back and switch it out if they have a bag with a different date & lot#. I’m on the verge of just cooking her food from now on. Please…do better PURINA ☹️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Purina One Lamb & Rice for over a decade. After which time our “family” started to age (nog unlike us) metabolism went down as well. We then went to Purina One Healthy Weight. After at least 1 year they all dropped weight & maintained the loss (okay 3 out of 5) Bingo & Otto still struggle, however we go back to the Lamb & Rice to treat them with flavor & nourishment. For the Non Purina homes we tried multiple brands prior to P1. We currently foster for a non profit & they (fosters) get weaned from their “food” to ours because they like it better. Some adopters want to know what we fed their new family member. Anyway they are healthy.

My dog enjoys the taste, digestion has improved, and the coat looks healthier and shinier. It offers good quality for the price and has not caused any allergies or stomach issues. I would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We adopted our current dog as an 8yr old senior needing a new home after her elderly owner couldn’t care for her any longer. She was terribly obese having been fed too many table scraps and treats. We weren’t sure what dog food she was used to but being long time dog owners over the years have come to trust Purina products. We chose this flavor thinking it would be easiest on her system and we would be able to buy it most places. She LOVES it , not causing her any tummy trouble—and now putting her on a more managed diet she has lost 20 pounds! Her coat looks great, her health is overall much better —we think this blend has been a real help to her. Good nite size pieces, consistent with each bag—we are happy with this food choice.
