I have a Neapolitan mastiff and a Maltese. My mastiff is allergic to chicken so we tried many brands of food that pet stores recommended and finally we found lamb and rice formula. They both love it and the pieces are small enough for my Maltese to enjoy also. Great find!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the crunchy and chewy pieces make meal time a treat for my 5 dogs. they are all active breeds that burn a lot of energy playing all day and the Smartblend keeps them healthy and well fed, without gaining unnecessary weight. even my picky eaters (husky and australian shepherd/blue heeler mix) are ready for morning and evening chow times!

I took the challenge and decided to put all 4 of my dogs on it, 2 of my dogs are 13 years old and 2 are 11. They loved it and seem to have more energy than before and not as many digestive issues. I also noticed that they are not as itchy and move around better. My smallest one has much better breath,great benefit there. Glad we tried this challenge. Thank You

Quality ingredients.Less filler.Whiskey loves it.My vet said it has less allergy causing ingredients.I literally read every bag of food to come to the conclusion that this is the best food.I also feed the cat food to my cat.I got my sister to switch also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have puppies with sensitive stomachs and old dogs with allergies. In this dog food one, it's great. I add in fresh meat to go with it and bone broth sometimes and my dogs look better than time they have ever looked

We recently adopted a pet from a shelter who was a bit skittish at first. We started with the food that they had served at the shelter, but he wasn't a fan. We had been planning on switching him to a Purina food eventually, but we hadn't decided on exactly what kind. After reading about all of the different types of Purina foods and flavors, we settled on Lamb & Rice SMARTBLEND. Our dog LOVES it! Definitely recommend!

This food is the best. My dog has very sensitive skin. Before learning this I would feed him chicken formulas of different brands. He developed hotspots.. Decided to try switching to lamb to help with his skin and it did wonders! My dog is picky. He lovesssss this food. He has been eating it happily for 5+ years now.

We switched back to Purina One Lamb and Rice formula when I noticed a moch fouler odor from our current dog food. I had switched to a cheaper brand due to the cost with having two dogs and going through dog food so quickly. My boys love it. It used to take my lab 15+minutes to eat. Literally 1 kibble at a time. Now its a whole different story. Both my boys live the switch. There is no odor with the Purina One and I've noticed a shinier coat and more energy! We love it!

My pup has been on and off several different foods. Everything from blue buffalo to higher end grocery isle foods. I couldn't find a single food to agree with his stomach. He's sensitive to chicken flavor. Although I would have much fathered a large breed puppy in the lamb and rice flavor; the regular lamb and rice food is perfect. It's filling, he has a shiny coat, and he generally seems to enjoy the food. I would absolutely reccommend this to a pet owner. Especially if they have sensitive stomachs. The lamb and rice flavor is very agreeable.
