After adopting a Min Pin from Craigslist we realized her history was not quite as we were lead to believe. She was thin, her coat was dull and her skin was flacky. She was itching all the time. After consulting a vet it was recommended we change her food to a lamb rice combo. It was suggested she had an allergy to corn & chicken. After 2 weeks her skin is not flacky anymore, her coat is shiney and she has filled out. She hardly itches now. Even my older dog likes the taste & she is VERY picky.

I actually switched to Purina Smart Blend Lamb & Rice from Science diet light, before this challenge started. Ursella is a pit mix & Cooper is a black lab & both are rescues. They love the new food. They're full of energy & their coats have become bright & shiny. Glad I switched!

I have a westiepoo and pommiepoo that i brought home as puppies over 12 years ago. Except for a few weeks of that time, they have only been fed Purina One Lamb and Rice or Purina One Chicken and Rice. They love them both. I tried to switch to a "vet formula" after a vet's recommendation when they were a few years old, but they would not eat at all. Even after trying to mix the food, and give them time to adjust. So I went back to what they love. They are happy with the food, and I am happy with the value and the nutrition that Purina One offers.

Once I received it, it was a coupon for a full size bag so I picked out the lamb and rice for sweet boy Ren (who's a husky) he wasnt taking it at first but then soon took it to his liking. He already has a lot of energy but now taking this new purina smartblend there was a new boost of life. His runs were longer and hes very energetic and seems so happy with it. Also It did great for his coat its more shinier and a little less hair everywhere its not so much fall out. I have recently changed his diet and kept this purina one smartblend as his kibble. I would definetly recommend this brand and now use it for my boy. Its a must try!

I rescued a 4 year old chihuahua mix and could not find anything she would eat. I tried different kinds of soft and hard foods even combining them and wasted more than my little girl would eat. I even tried a couple of very expensive brands. I was desperate. Finally a friend told me about Purina One and my fur baby loves it. Ate 3/4 cup right out of the bag dry. We tried the lamb small breed. Thank you Purina.

I noticed when I first started to feed my dogs this food I mixed it with their regular dog food and they would eat the purina and leave the other food so I just gave them purina and they have clean bowls no left overs ... We love the lamb and rice it's very good on their stomache and my dogs are very picky

The dogs love it. They have been on Purina puppy. How then lamb and rice all their lives. They are healthy happy dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my dog on Purina for a year now, my cats eat Purina as well. For dog food, we usually purchase the True Instinct High Protein Purina and get a 27lb bag. They didn’t have this option at the store so I purchased a 40lb bag of the Purina One Lamb and Rice. We’ve never had an issue with Purina brand until this bag of food. This bag had maggots all through the kibble. Very disappointed with this bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lamb and rice gives my Rough Collie zero digest I very issues. Unfortunately, his previously identified sensitivity to Chicken meal and other chicken protein sources, corn and wheat do cause allergies than manifest as chewing and licking his feet, though not as bad as a primary Chicken diet.

Please be careful feeding Purina one lamb and rice formula. My vet recommended this for my 2 dogs and not one but BOTH of my dogs are vomiting and diarrhea. I have been up since 4:30 this morning dealing with both dogs getting sick and after finally searching for hospital vet with blood work and X-rays (to make sure no blockages) they have come to the conclusion that I had gotten a bad batch of dog food!!!!! I went and bought this on 9/18 and it is now 9/23! 5 days of my poor dogs being sick!
