My dog has always been a dog with extra needs. He went through all kinds of allergen reduced dog foods. It was awful. He got to a point where he refused to eat them. I thought that if I gave him time and no treats, he would start eating the allergen free vet recommended junk. He didn't. four days sent by and I felt like an awful puppy parent. I had been researching possible brands that could accommodate his needs without breaking my bank. The first bowl of the lamb and rice formula convinced him and me that we'd found the best possible match. Hilariously, he will eat out all of the meat chunks and leave the other bits until later. I am so happy we found this food.

My vet recommended I put my two Scotty Dogs on the Purina One Smart Blend lamb and rice formula. They had allergies to other dog foods. It worked! No more scratching! Both dogs love the lamb and rice and lick their bowls clean! I really like that this dog food contains no added fillers or artificial flavors!!

I have an almost 3 yr old Pit Bull that is all around sensitive, he has sensitive skin and a sensitive stomach. Purina One Lamb and Rice formula is the only dog food that he loves to eat and doesn't upset his stomach. My 2 yr old Pit Bull and 10 yr old mini Rat Terrier love to eat it as well! Purina One lamb and rice is the only dog food I trust and will feed my dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I adopted my battle buddy I was ready to purchase the food my pervious dog ate; however, the shelter stated this is the food my new family memeber was accustomed to having 3 times a day. When delivering the first cup to his owl, I quickly understood why this food was his favorite. Along with traditional bites, this good is packed with dried yet soft meaty bites. My battle buddy loves them! Matter of fact, I place sme along with training treats in my pouch wile training, walking, or just to give him a treat for all his hard work throughout thr day. He has never had a sick stomach due to this good as I have experienced in the past with other brands of food. I would highly recommend this food a choice for any dog, especially picky esters as well as for dogs that need a balanced diet.

I switched over to Purina One about 4 mths ago from Purina Pro Plan to save a little money.... I figured I'd switch for a bit then go back. No need! My girls love their Purina One & I have actually noticed its helped minimize odor in their BMs as well :) it works out for all of us!!

Poor Cosmo, my non-finicky active 4 year old Australian Shepherd, is confused today about the taste of his food. Over the last 5 hours I have watched him return to his food bowl and eat a few nibbles of his new Lamb & Rice food and then walk away. I guess it's an acquired taste. I will definitely return to buying his regular Large Breed Adult food he has always enjoyed.

This purina one lamb was on sale at $6 off the regular price. I ordered a bag the last day of the sale, got an 'out of stock' notice. Tried the following day, it was in stock. The regular price now at $57.98, but there's a $3 coupon. Funny how it was back in the stock the next day!

While walking through Pet-smart, we ran into a dog breeder that happened to breed the same type of dog we have. An American bull dog. We asked them what they fed their dogs to have them looking so good, and not itching like crazy. They told us to get Purina Lamb and Rice and we would be happy with the results...and were we ever! Amazing how soft and full her coat has come in, and no more itching! :)
