[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have 2 rescue fur babies, a coon hound mix & a border collie mix. They definitely have different appetites & personalities so it was interesting to see how they would react to a new food being introduced. My coon hound, Sadie, is very high strung and very food motivated! She is not picky so she loved the Purina! Sasha, the border collie mix eats at her leisure & can be picky, but she loved it as well! I like that it helped them maintain a healthy weight & healthy coat as well. We have them the wet food to try as well from Purina One & they couldn't eat that fast enough! It was a nice treat for them. I would recommend it for sure! *I received this product for free for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a pure bred boxer... with seasonal allergies, bad allergies! :(We have had Ellie Mae on Puina One since we got her. But then, Our vet recommended several diet changes, including her food. Ellie Mae refused to ear.any of them after 60 days, 15% of her body weight lost, and no improvement I immediately put her back on Purina One. She lives the food and is gaining the lost weight back slowly. We will never ever try any different foods for her!

Lamb and rice is not what we got. Or Doug has severe chicken allergies. We purchased the lamb and rice smart blend because Parina one was what was recommended by our vet as to you having no chicken meal or buy product. After feeding it to our dog he had severe allergic reactions, not understanding what happened we read the ingredients in there is definitely chicken buy product. Very Disappointing with such a bad advertising. I think it should be against the law to call a formula lamb and rice and then somewhere 10 products down in the ingredients throw in a chicken byproduct product

I have a Neapolitan mastiff and a Maltese. My mastiff is allergic to chicken so we tried many brands of food that pet stores recommended and finally we found lamb and rice formula. They both love it and the pieces are small enough for my Maltese to enjoy also. Great find!!

Our dog is 10 years old and has some health problems so what we feed him is important. We have definitely noticed a difference in his energy since starting Purina One Lamb and Rice. He loves the flavor of the food and begs us to feed him, something he's never done before. Thanks for a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 8 year old Carin terrier loves to eat but I would always have to “doctor” her food with something like a piece of cheese or broth. The change occurred when we switched to this formula! She ate the food without adding anything! I’ve noticed that she has more energy and wants to play more often as well. We’re staying with Purina One !

I have purchased several foods for my dogs and they will only eat one Purina One SmartBlend Lamb and Rice Formula. i would never buy another food for them again. it is a bit pricey but it is worth them eating their food and enjoying it. they truely make a great food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Vizsla tends to be a picky eater. He is 2 years old and around 40 lbs. As soon as I started introducing the Purina One dog food into his diet, he ate it up right away almost every single time! Today is the first day of back to the old food and he hasn't touched his breakfast. The only downside is that there is not as much protein as the dog food we normally feed him. He is a high energy dog, used for hunting, and my husband likes the higher protein food for him.

I was feeding Royal Canin and was really hesitant to switch but I truly think this is a great food. I wish there were puppy packets available for breeders to give to new owners with their puppy. Royal Canin had a nice program and I do miss that but I will be keeping mine on Purina One!

I have fed Purina One Lamb and Rice to my dogs for years. It has been very happily received for every meal. I've had some beagle mixes, and they have usually had digestive issues until I could get them switched to Purina One and then no more problems.
