[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 Weiner dogs who were so picky they would eat a food once or twice then decide they didn't want it ever again. Then one day I noticed that true instinct had tons of dried meat chunks and a year later my dogs still love it. They Eben come paw at the food bin and make me feed them chunks of meat as treats I would highly suggest for regular and picky dogs because my dogs eat fresh chicken every night and they still enjoy true instinct just as much as there chicken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 high energy Doberman Pinschers. One is a 5.5 year old female and the other is a 25 month old hyper teenage male Doberman Pinscher. The fact that there's no fillers, 30% protein and the Turkey and Venison is packed with a lot of big pieces of dehydrated turkey and venison is something they first go after. They are free feed plus they are fed dinner. Sometimes the wet version, sometimes something else. There is no gas attacks, due to no fillers, they have smaller bowel movements. They've been on it for over 8 months. Their skin, coat, nails and physically have not looked better. The male is developing perfectly and isn't starving anymore and is filling out nicely. I've always fed Purina One. Once I discovered the True Instincts line and spoke with your nutritionist, I'm satisfied that it really is a complete and nutritionally dense and tasty food appropriate for my two high energy dogs. I love it almost as much as they do.

Scout LOVES this food—both turkey-venison and tuna-salmon. Four months of True Instincts and he is pulling harder on the leash, has a silkier, thicker coat, bright eyes, and takes time to chew this food. He is a ten yr old Brittany but has energy of a puppy!

My dogs love it I have a Great Dane and a Miniature Dashuhand My little dog was eating little Ceasar and the Great Dane was on for health, When I switch my Dane my Little one started stealing her food so I just started switching hers so now they are both eating Purina One and they love it. I would highly recommend this food to anyone who has a dog. It is kind pricey but my dogs are worth it. It has good things for the whole health and vitamins that they need.

How can you say it has no poultry by-product on the package when the second ingredient is chicken meal?? Our dog has a chicken allergy and we've been feeding this to him based on what the bag said about chicken by-products. My dog has been fighting skin conditions for years and it's probably from the food. So unhappy now. The grain free food is not safe for dogs so we switched to this. Thanks a lot.

She loves it!! Her favorite is the Turkey and Venison, but I switch to Salmon or Chicken according to store availability. 100% recommended!!

We just ordered a 36lb bag from Chewy because the nutrients and glucosamine seemed a plus for our dogs as they get older. Both of my dogs after a week of eating it has had diarrhea every day and now vomiting.. We couldn’t believe it was the dry food so we gave them pumpkin but now my other dog is sick so that’s all he had been eating so clearly the food was a bad batch and we got it from Chewy. I wish I kept the bag to look on dates and batch number.
