[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to find a better fit for my Great Pyrenees who is having liver issues and after doing some research I found out that the previous food had chicken by products in it so I switched him over to this one. So far he still has the dry skin from the corn products and grains that they pile in there but at least there’s no animal by products so that makes me me feel a little bit better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well to start with our two dogs are a 3 years old Beagle/hound and a Shi-poo 8 years old. I had Purina One in their diet off and on but in this challenge I didn't change. Until we were gone for two weeks and ran out. I bought a another brand. Oh Boy that didn't go well at all. They both ate it once and it took two days to get it out of their system. They wouldn't eat that brand anymore. Went back to another store and found Purina One Chicken not the True Instinct but man they were happy. This is the only food I have found our dogs will eat.

Leaves NO MESS. Both of our dogs like this food and seem to eat less. Thus, LESS MESS in the yard. I recommend this dog food

We wanted something that the first ingredient was meat and found this and he ate it as soon as we put it out. This is the first thing we tried after puppy food and will continue to keep him on this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first tried other dog foods, they didn’t get her attention. It didn’t look like she liked it and it wasn’t making her stomach feel good. Once I purchased this one, she has enjoyed eating it every time. She eats it all and never looks hungry anymore. I hope she continues to love it. I think this may be her favorite dog food we’ve tried out.

When she fist tried purina one she wasn't interested. After a couple of tries, she ended up loving it she is average weight now. Her hair is so full soft and growing I see

After Scout’s surgery to remove liver mass, vet said to feed meat. Purina ONE with turkey and venison is loaded with nutrients and he does jumping jacks at feeding time. Now, three months later, post-op lab results are in and much improved. Mass caused anemia, but his red cell count is now at high normal. Vet and Scout are happy. He has regained weight lost, coat is thicker, no more shedding, and he is pulling me around the block again. Very alert, high energy Brittany once again and nearly 11 yrs old! Excellent product. Scout deserves the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs are doing well on this food. One is geriatric, and the other is an adolescent, and it seems to meet both of their needs. Their coats are also very soft. During last trip to the store, I was not able to find the venison variety in the larger bag, and settled on the smaller one.

My dogs love this! One of them is a little picky, but she eats it right up. However, it's too expensive to pay $8.00 to have it shipped. It's not in stock at my local Sam's Club. I just think Sam's Club should ship it for free for Plus if they're not going to carry it in the club, (shame on you.) I can get it shipped free from another merchant, and that's more cost effective, given Sam's shipping cost.

My girl Gypsy had been roaming wild on her own, scared of people, underweight, grossly emaciated, and honestly not knowing how to be a dog. Purina has always been my go to, she now has a healthy and vibrant coat, lots of energy and absolutely loves people.
