My pups seem to love the change to this food.  They eat it by itself when other times they had to have soft food or other food added.

Great product

Because SAMS was out of our normal dog food-AGAIN, I had to choose another brand. This food gave my bulldog allergies and he’s losing fur.

Good for allergy burdened dog

My poodle and doodle eat this dog food and love it.  It has lots of turkey and venison in it and my dogs have thrived eating it.

The dog food itself is good. Sams had it for a great price. It wàsn't a sale price either. Then the next they jacked it up $10.

This is the only dry dog food we use for our canines. The dog food is good quality; not greasy or stinky.  Sams price is the best for this size!

Recommend

We purchase this dog food weekly for our three dogs, and they absolutely love it. However, during my most recent pickup order, I encountered a concerning issue.

On my first trip to the store, I received a bag of dog food with an open seam. The packaging was not sealed properly, and the food had already spilled into my car. I returned the bag and was given a replacement, only to discover that the second bag also had an unsealed seam, resulting in the same issue.

This is alarming, as I have three dogs and am very concerned about the risk of spoiled or contaminated food leading to potential illness or costly veterinary visits. I am unsure whether this problem stems from a packaging defect on Purina’s end or mishandling at the store level, but receiving two unsealed bags in a row is unacceptable.

I have contacted Purina to report the issue, and they have documented the packaging numbers for investigation. I will be returning the product and purchasing from another store, as well as requesting a refund.

I’m sharing this as a caution to other pet owners: please check your pet food packaging carefully to avoid the risk of giving your pets potentially compromised food.

Dog food packaging issues

This is a wonderful food for my fur babies. We visit the vet once per year - no other problems. We do add some veggies and green apples. They love it.
