I have been feeding this food to my German Shepherd, whom I adopted from a rescue at about 3 years old. She loves it! She had had heartworms and after treatment she was underweight. I let her eat as much as she wanted, but she actually gained about 8 pounds too much. I give her a little less now and she is down to her ideal weight. I feed her twice a day and in the morning I give her 2 spoonfuls of the different Purina canned food with tender cuts in gravy. She loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to find a better fit for my Great Pyrenees who is having liver issues and after doing some research I found out that the previous food had chicken by products in it so I switched him over to this one. So far he still has the dry skin from the corn products and grains that they pile in there but at least there’s no animal by products so that makes me me feel a little bit better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest complaint is the bag is never a good mix with the kibble and the turkey/ venison bits meaning they separate and you end up getting a bunch of pieces at the bottom of the bag and end up with not much kibble.

just got home after what felt like 3 hrs reading an feeling the dog food atv the store through the bag for soft pieces because if there's any way my dog was going to eat something other than Old Roy soft Play-Doh feeling food that he won't eat anything else that I've introduced it was if it has tender pieces..i poured him a bowl and he walked away. THEN I HEARD THE CRUNCH!! He was eating it!!! Im hoping his itchiness and joy to eat his food improves.. I'm so happy to find this Purina one true instinct turkey and venison .. I hope this product never disappears off the shelf. I wish i could by a huge huge bag!! I will upload a picture of the bag to look for because it says product bag look will be changing !

I have a 95lb Great Pyrenees mix . When I got her she was 45lb supposed to be 9 months old and wouldn’t get much bigger due to malnutrition . She looked more like a short haired white Shepard. She loved this food it completely grew her hair in and allowed her to reach her full growth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband’s dog eats this but it’s sort of hit or miss, sometimes he eats it and sometimes he doesn’t…… I don’t think it has anything to do with the food because my puppy loves it which she doesn’t need to be eating it but she loves it. The other dog is just insanely picky and doesn’t wanna eat anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 year old American Eskimo loves Purina One! Every morning when I feed him he runs to his bowl. He picks out the meat chunks before eating the kibble, but he eats it all. I’ve fed him other Purina products, but this seems to be his favorite.
