Next to pizza, that's what my bro fed his dog, the dog shows great enthusiasm when I fill his bowl The kibble has a mix of softer and harder kibble , she tends towards the soft kibble, eating it too quickly.One of the first five ingredients is soy flour, that drops the ratings score down to 3 and the additives keep it down But, getting back to what the dog thinks. This is much better than the cat food he sneaks whenever they leave the plate to clean their paws. A hurricane staple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a beautiful 8 month old Australian Shepherd/Black Lab mix. She was perfectly healthy months 1-7 while I was feeding her Blue Wilderness puppy food and Blue Buffalo towards the end. After beginning the 28 day challenge, within a week there was a noticeable difference in her looks and behavior, and not for the better. She became very itchy, and has been losing patches of fur. Her eyes have been irritated and red, and has lacked that playful puppy energy she had. She doesn’t look nearly as healthy or happy as she was a little over a month ago. Which makes me not very happy. She’s also became pregnant during this 28 days and I hope to god that accepting this challenge don’t cause her any complications or issues. Not happy! 28 day challenge is a challenge alright. More like a gauntlet. Thought I’d save some money by switching from Blue but ended up costing more in the long run when you add the vet bill...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 dogs that burn energy through most of the day then take a nap before acting like three nutcases. They love the Turkey and venison even though it does get expensive. I think more of my dogs than to feed them cheap food.

It took us a while to find a food she loves as well as providing her with the nutrients and protein that was right for her. We are happy to say that the Purina one true instinct with a blend of real turkey and venison was perfect. She absolutely loves her food and gives her the right amount of nutrients plus the protein she needs to keep her happy and healthy. Thank you Purina.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Aussie loves this stuff. I've struggled to get him to eat right, and have tried a lot of different dry foods. I wanted a high protein food since he's so active.After the first couple of bags, I noticed his coat was softer and silky. He put on weight and is a healthy 60lbs. I also like this is dry food doesn't seem as hard for him to chew compared to other brands. It's a "softer" dry food and easy on his teeth. Overall, I've been very pleased with this product and what's it's done for my boy.Thank you Purina

She loves it!! Her favorite is the Turkey and Venison, but I switch to Salmon or Chicken according to store availability. 100% recommended!!
