[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a couple of weeks ago when our 20 year old fridge finally quit running. Consumer Reports gave it a "Best Buy" rating and that convinced us on the purchase. It comes with a water line to dispense drinking water but, since we live in an older home with copper tubing, the installers weren't allowed to hook it up. No problem as we didn't use one in the old fridge either. (We've used a Britta Water Bottle for years). We also took out the water filter that came with the fridge and closed it off with the provided cap. We didn't get the optional ice maker either. It has 2 shelves (we would've preferred 3) and no deli meat keeper as our old fridge had. We just put a bin on 1 of the shelves and that works as there is plenty of room in the fridge as well as in the freezer area. There are bins, with adjustable settings for humidity, for fruits and vegetables. It runs quietly so no complaints there. Only thing we don't like about it is the stainless steel finish which shows finger marks very easily. Soap and water removes that but still....All in all, we're pleased with our purchase.

I've had the refrigerator for 2 weeks. I ordered the ice maker separately from LG because it would not be available from the appliance store for more than 6 weeks. The refrigerator came with 4 small dents in the door, so the appliance store repairman will replace the door for us this week. He installed the ice maker and we do have water AND ice, contradictory to other reviews that I've read about this model. I miss having a meat and cheese drawer, but I kept the drawer from my old refrigerator and laid it on a shelf, but then it takes up space on the shelf. The refrigerator section is way big enough, but the freezer on top seems to be smaller than our old freezer part of the same size refrigerator.. I don't like all of the fingerprints on the front of the stainless steel refrigerator.

we have had this for about 2 months. We chose it because it is an LG and we wanted the old fashioned freezer on top because it is most efficient. We did not get the ice-maker because that is troublesome on many models (not particularly LG). We are getting water on the top shelf

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is nice and cold, as is the freezer. But there is no light in the freezer, and that is disappointing. We also found it is difficult to find things in the fridge, as we are not used to bending over. (Previously had a bottom freezer).

It was delivered in January and quit running in June. We lost all of our food and had to take a day off of work for the repair man. Plus when we got it home we realized it didn't have a freezer light. It has a fancy water dispenser that we can t use , but no light.

I’ve had this refrigerator just at 2 weeks now. As far as the refrigerator itself goes it is working as it should be. A little noisier than I think it should be but it works. The terrible thing about this refrigerator is the design of the door going all the way to the floor. Within the first couple of days I caught my foot with it. Just this past weekend I did it again (and I’ve been very careful trying to keep away from the door) and this time it was very bad. I think the toe is broke and I will probably lose the nail. Very painful.

I purchased this for a rental property, and the features and price were very desirable. The problem my tenant had was with the refrigerator shelf supports. The clips that held the shelves in place gave way when the shelves were loaded with food items. LG was contacted and they sent replacement shelves since it was still under warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a side-by-side but opted for a regular freezer top instead. I was very surprised of the interior space and also the improved quality of the water from the water filter. The only drawback is that I keep bumping my head on the (overhead) freezer door whenever I close the Fruits and Vegetable drawers at the bottom drawer of the fridge. It is necessary to step back a half step first and not stand straight up in order to avoid the "bump."

Have had it less than 4 months and it has already broken down and I have already been waiting 2 weeks for a repair person to come out and look at it. Still have atleast 8 more days before they are scheduled to come out. Very disappointed in the service center

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shopping for several months for the precise design that would fit my space and kitchen layout. The 36" models would have interfered with other features and the smaller cubic foot models were too small. I liked this Model a lot, but put off buying for a while. Then, suddenly, it became an urgent need as my old fridge went kapoot. I isisted at the stores we went to that the LG LRTLS2403S was what I wanted. Four different stores couldn't deliver for 5 days. Soooo, I drove 110 miles round trip to pick it up myself. Best decision I ever made. Roomy, holds temperature exact. The internal cold water is a blessing. And the optional Ice Maker is so easy to install my little sister could do it in 20 minutes. Great product.
