SO much more space inside than y 18.2 cubic foot. SO nice not having handles as another place to clean around. I highly recommend this unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this LG Refrigerator New on 08/02/23 and received it on 08/10/23. It has been working perfectly. WHAT REALLY surprised me, I set the controls to the 2nd light and let it cool for approx. 2 hours and then checked the Refrigerators temperature and it was going to 36 degrees, I then checked the Freezer temperature, and it was going down to near 0 degrees, the noise level is extremely low. My wife and I are Older Folks and know a thing or two and I feel safe to say, THIS IS A WELL DESIGNED Refrigerator and we Love it. We have ours in the Kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our new LG refrigerator delivered a little over a week ago. The delivery guys were fantastic. They had to reverse the doors, level it and bring it in and put it in the place of the old one. It was a perfect fit, and all was fine. And then I put the food in it. Loaded the freezer and filled the fridge. That's when the mystery began. I opened the freezer door and there was this loud snapping sound coming from the hinge of the door. We could not figure it out. I called your helpline and after explaining the situation the representative thought that it was because it was not level. What?? It was level when they brought it in and placed it in its spot. How can it not be level now. Well, let me tell you it took four days, two grown men, a pry bar, and some very creative thinking to get a shim and some wood slabs behind it because there was a counter on one side and a wall on the other. Finally, after I figured out how to get the wheel up on the piece of wood behind it in the right-hand corner with some small, sloped shims, we got it in place, and it still wasn't level. It then took the two grow men to figure out they needed to level the front. They finally got it level and it works!!!!! Never have I ever had to do this with a fridge, and I have had quite a few. Now I love it and hopefully will never have to go through this again. But at least I will know how to fix it.

This is a very nice fridge: spacious, quiet, and attractive. Bought it over the smaller model because it had a great review over at Consumer Reports. The only issue I have with this refrigerator is that due to a design flaw, you can't use the water dispenser and the ice maker at the same time - it's either/or. If I had known this, I would have bought a LHTNS2403S instead, which accepts an ice maker but frees up the space where the water dispenser would have been.

I bought this refrigerator 11 months ago. The freezer door pops open too easily when closing the fridge door. Often is stays open enough to let cool air out and warm air in. This results in ice forming all around the back of freezer compartment. This, I believe, resulted in the premature failure of the freezer fan and controller. It took approximately 7 weeks to repair this problem. But the problem with the door still persists which leads me to believe it will happen again. I don't believe the magnetic sealing strip around the freezer door is strong enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this for about a month and so far the only compliant I have is there is no "lunch meat" drawer. We did not notice that at the time of purchase but boy did we notice it afterwards. We bought an after market add on which is working ok. After we installed the fridge in its new home, we realized the doors needed to be swapped. This was not an easy job and took us about 4 hours to complete. Not a fun day to day the say the least.

We like the chilled/purified water system. I would like to have seen a water and ice (crushed and whole) maker in the door as a feature.

This is the closest one with a very good rating that fits that description. My only complaint would be for a freezer light - would be a very helpful addition. The stainless steel look does get quite messy, but I dont entertain so it doesnt really bother me too much. Looking forward to this purchase lasting for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a couple of weeks ago when our 20 year old fridge finally quit running. Consumer Reports gave it a "Best Buy" rating and that convinced us on the purchase. It comes with a water line to dispense drinking water but, since we live in an older home with copper tubing, the installers weren't allowed to hook it up. No problem as we didn't use one in the old fridge either. (We've used a Britta Water Bottle for years). We also took out the water filter that came with the fridge and closed it off with the provided cap. We didn't get the optional ice maker either. It has 2 shelves (we would've preferred 3) and no deli meat keeper as our old fridge had. We just put a bin on 1 of the shelves and that works as there is plenty of room in the fridge as well as in the freezer area. There are bins, with adjustable settings for humidity, for fruits and vegetables. It runs quietly so no complaints there. Only thing we don't like about it is the stainless steel finish which shows finger marks very easily. Soap and water removes that but still....All in all, we're pleased with our purchase.

We bought this top freezer refrigerator after lots of research and evaluation of other brands and models. We like it very much because it is functional, has lots of space both in the freezer and in the refrigerator, excellent control and distribution of cold air both in the freezer and in the refrigeration section. Easy to see what is in the shelves, and easy to clean. Extremely quiet. We are very pleased with it.
