It was rated very well by Consumer Reports and we can see why. Thank you LG, for your high manufacturing standards! Our next purchase will likely be an LG washer and maybe an LG dryer.

It's larger than my previous fridge, while being so efficient that it has basically the same power consumption. It also has a dispenser, which was my main desire. If it could also have an ice maker at the same time, it would be even better. Maybe the next model will have both!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a couple of weeks ago when our 20 year old fridge finally quit running. Consumer Reports gave it a "Best Buy" rating and that convinced us on the purchase. It comes with a water line to dispense drinking water but, since we live in an older home with copper tubing, the installers weren't allowed to hook it up. No problem as we didn't use one in the old fridge either. (We've used a Britta Water Bottle for years). We also took out the water filter that came with the fridge and closed it off with the provided cap. We didn't get the optional ice maker either. It has 2 shelves (we would've preferred 3) and no deli meat keeper as our old fridge had. We just put a bin on 1 of the shelves and that works as there is plenty of room in the fridge as well as in the freezer area. There are bins, with adjustable settings for humidity, for fruits and vegetables. It runs quietly so no complaints there. Only thing we don't like about it is the stainless steel finish which shows finger marks very easily. Soap and water removes that but still....All in all, we're pleased with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator about a month ago as a replacement for a larger (cu.ft.) but old and ailing side-by-side by a different manufacturer. Surprisingly, this somewhat smaller LG refrigerator seems to hold more food due to the efficient interior design. The exterior is stylish with no protruding door handles to take up additional space in our small kitchen. It is very quite and we have not any problems with either the refrigerator or freezer compartment so far.

I was disappointed with this newer version of this model. I bought the exact same fridge a year ago and purchased it again thinking I was getting the same one. This newer version did not come with a pantry drawer, the bottom door shelf and it did not come with an ice maker like my older model.

Nice size fridge and freezer for the price. Water filter and dispenser on inside of fridge is a nice feature at this price range. LED lighting and basic electronic controls are also nice features. Fridge and freezer work very well and maintain temperatures without issue. The only complaint I have is changing which side the doors open on is a real time consuming pain in the rear. Hinge pins and bracket orientation changes are extensive and pins can be hard to remove from bracket.

Looks decent, has good space. Water dispenser is convenient, but you will only get 2 classes of cold water before you need to close the door and wait for a few hours. You get what you pay for. Not even 2 years old and all of the plastic frames of the shelves are cracked. The refrigeration system has been loud since purchase. This is due to the latest generation of refrigerants all refrigerators use these days. Even when off the refrigeration system is loud. Upon compressor shut down you will hear the propane/butane refrigerant boiling off/ bubbling as the system equalizes. You will be able to hear all of this in any adjoining room, possibly further. This refrigerator would get 3 stars if the ice maker kit was ever in stock. Due to covid shortages the fridge was only sold "ice maker ready". Almost 2 years later and they are almost never available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shopping for something that was more function that style, this is great refrigerator for what I needed. It still has the convenience of chilled water and ice but doesn’t have bulky doors and lost storage space for in door dispensing. The outside is simple stainless without handles so it has a very clean look and matched other stainless appliances well.

It was delivered in January and quit running in June. We lost all of our food and had to take a day off of work for the repair man. Plus when we got it home we realized it didn't have a freezer light. It has a fancy water dispenser that we can t use , but no light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is just under 2 years old and already the freezer fan died and had to be replaced--and it wasn't covered under the warranty; I ended up spending almost 50% of what I originally paid for the fridge, so this was an expensive and disappointing fix.
