We bought this top freezer refrigerator after lots of research and evaluation of other brands and models. We like it very much because it is functional, has lots of space both in the freezer and in the refrigerator, excellent control and distribution of cold air both in the freezer and in the refrigeration section. Easy to see what is in the shelves, and easy to clean. Extremely quiet. We are very pleased with it.

The filtered water line for getting a glass of cold water is a nice feature. Besides being the largest fridge I ever had, it looks great too with the stainless steel finish.

It is very, very quiet and keeps every thing cool and the freezer is large for its size and holds lots of food that I purchase. I love this refrigerator. It also comes with a nice warranty. It also dispenses cold water through the refrigerator that I use quite often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge in June. I like that it is simple but spacious and modern looking without the frills. I don’t care for the bottom freezer or side by sides types. This fits perfectly in my kitchen with the other appliances I bought.

Looks decent, has good space. Water dispenser is convenient, but you will only get 2 classes of cold water before you need to close the door and wait for a few hours. You get what you pay for. Not even 2 years old and all of the plastic frames of the shelves are cracked. The refrigeration system has been loud since purchase. This is due to the latest generation of refrigerants all refrigerators use these days. Even when off the refrigeration system is loud. Upon compressor shut down you will hear the propane/butane refrigerant boiling off/ bubbling as the system equalizes. You will be able to hear all of this in any adjoining room, possibly further. This refrigerator would get 3 stars if the ice maker kit was ever in stock. Due to covid shortages the fridge was only sold "ice maker ready". Almost 2 years later and they are almost never available.

Our repair guy I would give five stars. The only reason why I gave this two stars is because I was extremely disappointed to find out that the parts of this LG refrigerator are cheap plastic. I only have the refrigerator a year and already the fan went. I saw the fan and I was so perplexed that the product is made with junk. Definitely not worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our new LG refrigerator delivered a little over a week ago. The delivery guys were fantastic. They had to reverse the doors, level it and bring it in and put it in the place of the old one. It was a perfect fit, and all was fine. And then I put the food in it. Loaded the freezer and filled the fridge. That's when the mystery began. I opened the freezer door and there was this loud snapping sound coming from the hinge of the door. We could not figure it out. I called your helpline and after explaining the situation the representative thought that it was because it was not level. What?? It was level when they brought it in and placed it in its spot. How can it not be level now. Well, let me tell you it took four days, two grown men, a pry bar, and some very creative thinking to get a shim and some wood slabs behind it because there was a counter on one side and a wall on the other. Finally, after I figured out how to get the wheel up on the piece of wood behind it in the right-hand corner with some small, sloped shims, we got it in place, and it still wasn't level. It then took the two grow men to figure out they needed to level the front. They finally got it level and it works!!!!! Never have I ever had to do this with a fridge, and I have had quite a few. Now I love it and hopefully will never have to go through this again. But at least I will know how to fix it.

I’ve had this refrigerator just at 2 weeks now. As far as the refrigerator itself goes it is working as it should be. A little noisier than I think it should be but it works. The terrible thing about this refrigerator is the design of the door going all the way to the floor. Within the first couple of days I caught my foot with it. Just this past weekend I did it again (and I’ve been very careful trying to keep away from the door) and this time it was very bad. I think the toe is broke and I will probably lose the nail. Very painful.

Nice size fridge and freezer for the price. Water filter and dispenser on inside of fridge is a nice feature at this price range. LED lighting and basic electronic controls are also nice features. Fridge and freezer work very well and maintain temperatures without issue. The only complaint I have is changing which side the doors open on is a real time consuming pain in the rear. Hinge pins and bracket orientation changes are extensive and pins can be hard to remove from bracket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is just under 2 years old and already the freezer fan died and had to be replaced--and it wasn't covered under the warranty; I ended up spending almost 50% of what I originally paid for the fridge, so this was an expensive and disappointing fix.
