I wanted an ice-in-door, bottom freezer, but the ratings were not good enough and, since ice is important and "slow ice" was a comment, I went back to basics. So happy. The usable space is better than my old side-by-side even though cubic feet were supposedly similar. Though I'd prefer ice-in-door, I've again gained freezer space and have good ice production. The shelves are easy to clean and appear to have better support than my previous refrigerator. Vegetable and fruit drawers, spacious and keep items fresh. Back to basics and I'm the winner. Now, LG, just give me longevity.

We bought this top freezer refrigerator after lots of research and evaluation of other brands and models. We like it very much because it is functional, has lots of space both in the freezer and in the refrigerator, excellent control and distribution of cold air both in the freezer and in the refrigeration section. Easy to see what is in the shelves, and easy to clean. Extremely quiet. We are very pleased with it.

The filtered water line for getting a glass of cold water is a nice feature. Besides being the largest fridge I ever had, it looks great too with the stainless steel finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a month ago - was looking for a fridge that didnt have a lot of expensive features added. This is the closest one with a very good rating that fits that description. My only complaint would be for a freezer light - would be a very helpful addition. The stainless steel look does get quite messy, but I dont entertain so it doesnt really bother me too much. Looking forward to this purchase lasting for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a couple of weeks ago when our 20 year old fridge finally quit running. Consumer Reports gave it a "Best Buy" rating and that convinced us on the purchase. It comes with a water line to dispense drinking water but, since we live in an older home with copper tubing, the installers weren't allowed to hook it up. No problem as we didn't use one in the old fridge either. (We've used a Britta Water Bottle for years). We also took out the water filter that came with the fridge and closed it off with the provided cap. We didn't get the optional ice maker either. It has 2 shelves (we would've preferred 3) and no deli meat keeper as our old fridge had. We just put a bin on 1 of the shelves and that works as there is plenty of room in the fridge as well as in the freezer area. There are bins, with adjustable settings for humidity, for fruits and vegetables. It runs quietly so no complaints there. Only thing we don't like about it is the stainless steel finish which shows finger marks very easily. Soap and water removes that but still....All in all, we're pleased with our purchase.

This very simple, no frills Refrigerator is great for bar or in an office kitchen. It does have an internal water dispenser that is very touchy. Only works about half the time. Then you have to bleed the air out and wait a minute, etc. too much of a hassle so I buy bottled water.

Love the ice maker and water filter option that surprised me and I use frequently Fingerprint free stainless is also great Price very reasonable for what I needed

This is a very nice fridge: spacious, quiet, and attractive. Bought it over the smaller model because it had a great review over at Consumer Reports. The only issue I have with this refrigerator is that due to a design flaw, you can't use the water dispenser and the ice maker at the same time - it's either/or. If I had known this, I would have bought a LHTNS2403S instead, which accepts an ice maker but frees up the space where the water dispenser would have been.

Have had it less than 4 months and it has already broken down and I have already been waiting 2 weeks for a repair person to come out and look at it. Still have atleast 8 more days before they are scheduled to come out. Very disappointed in the service center

Our repair guy I would give five stars. The only reason why I gave this two stars is because I was extremely disappointed to find out that the parts of this LG refrigerator are cheap plastic. I only have the refrigerator a year and already the fan went. I saw the fan and I was so perplexed that the product is made with junk. Definitely not worth the money.
