Annoying Door Alarm
This refrigerator has been a pain in the you know what we bought over five years ago. Doors never close right and the annoying ding ding ding alarm is constantly going off many times after we close them. The alarm cannot be disabled and it rings even when the doors are completely shut. I'd love to by another top freezer refrigerator of this same size, but looks like LG has this category by itself.

Wanted to buy another one BUT
I have loved mine for 11 years and wanted to buy another one since we are selling the house, BUT, one of the my favorite things about it, is the pantry drawer in the middle of the fridge. I use it every day and it is always full. LG took it away in the new model. Also the very bottom door shelf. It is small but I have it full. It is very useful. I don’t understand why they would take away very useful features. I won’t buy this fridge again because I would hate it without those two parts.
Hi! We appreciate you sharing your experience with your LG Refrigerator! It’s great hearing how much you enjoyed your previous model for 11 years — that pantry drawer and bottom door shelf clearly played a big role in your daily routine. We understand how meaningful those features can be when they fit perfectly into the way you use your fridge. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and it helps highlight what longtime LG owners appreciate most! For more feedback or questions, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. Thanks for choosing LG! #LifesGood ^James

Looks great, nice storage! Have had it repaired 4 times in 6 months. Was broken waiting for parts more than was in use. Now it is frosting the containers in my freezer. Hate this appliance! Wish I never bought it. My daughter refuses to use it because so much of her food goes bad! Avoid this one!
We are sad to learn that your refrigerator needed repair. Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. ^Sandy
Awful refrigerator
Junk!!! About 5 years ago we purchased a bottom freezer LG refrigerator. Was the largest 33 in wide bottom freezer. It stopped working. We needed a new refrigerator ASAP. Went and purchased this one about 4 months ago. Was another 24 cubic ft 33 in wide and could get it the next day. Wanted to stay with LG to match our oven and microwave. Here we are, 4 months later and freezer is okay, refrigerator is 55*. Removed everything from the refrigerator. Set to the coldest setting. Same results. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. 2 refrigerators in under 6 years, terrible. Now have to go look for another refrigerator. Won't be an LG that's for sure

I have had this refrigerator for a year and a half I have had to have a repairman come every 3-6 months to fix it inability to defrosting properly. Causing the refrigerator part to run warm. I have lost hundreds in groceries and repairs due to this. I have followed the cleaning protocols to a T and yet it keeps doing it! I even bought another freezer to limit the food in the freezer to keep circulation of air going. With what I have spend in time, repairs, and lost of food. I should have bought a different brand of refrigerator! So disappointing!
Hey there! I understand that repeated repairs and grocery loss can be a major hassle, so let's look at some options that could help address the defrosting issue. To start, try a full manual defrost by unplugging the fridge, emptying it, and leaving the doors open for about 8 hours, then wiping it dry and plugging it back in. For a more detailed guide, you can check this link: [Manual Defrost Process](http://spr.ly/6423SJ7Nb). Additionally, make sure the door seals are clean and undamaged and set the freezer to 0°F with some space for air circulation. If you notice error codes like **ER DH** or **F DH**, these may indicate defrost system components that need attention. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, feel free to reach out for repair support. Send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help get everything back on track. ^ Diego
Not Magnetic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so disappointed that this fridge is not magnetic. We keep a magnetic family calendar whiteboard on our fridge and a magnetic collection from our travels. Nothing will stick. Is there a way to make it magnetic? Very disappointed this was not mentioned to use when buying. I wasn't aware that Stainless Steel is not magnetic and now we have not place to put our family calendar and magnets.
Hey there! Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. Because the fridge is made of stainless steel, it's not possible to make it magnetic. We understand the joy that accompanies the act of decorating your refrigerator. Your feedback is important to us as it helps us know which features to consider for future models. If there's anything more we can do to enhance your satisfaction with this fridge, please don't hesitate to reach out on social media @LGUSSupport. ^Chanelle
Large and attractive but has a few shortcomings
We've had our LG LRTLS2403S for about a month now. We like it because there is a lot of storage space and it's easy to keep the exterior clean. However, there are certain features that a buyer might want to consider before purchasing this model. 1) the bottom of the door is very low to the floor - 1.5 inches, If not careful, you can injure your foot when opening the door. In my opinion this is a design flaw and a safety hazard that should be corrected on future models. 2) There is a cold water dispenser "inside" the refrigerator. The fill rate is so slow that it's really not usable in my opinion. It probably causes higher electricity use because the door has to be open so long when in use. We won't be using this feature. 3) When the refrigerator is running there is a noticeable low pitched hum. It's not annoying but is audible. 4) If you get the stainless model, forget using refrigerator magnets. They won't work. 5) The refrigerator could use more storage bins. There are only two at the bottom. This can be solved by purchasing after market bins.
No frills.
I knew we were buying a no frills model refrigerator but there is no light in the freezer. There is a design on the ceiling of the freezer that designates where it should go if they bothered to install it. But they didn't. No light in the freezer. Really?
Thank you for sharing your product experience feedback. We will share this with our research and development teams for future consideration. ^Jennifer
