Fast but ice cubes are small and melt in unit

Pros: makes ice fast, price of product is lower than other. Cons: ice melts while it's sitting in basket (unit is not cold enough to keep ice frozen), noisy, ice cubes are small, really doesn't make much ice (made a quart size ziploc bag size of small ice cubes in 3 hours), seems like cleaning it will be a pain.

Very Reasonable Option

Purchased this product about 2 months ago Pretty pleased with it. Seems to generate a sufficient amount of ice, making small cubes seems to speed up the process. We transfer the ice to a container in the freezer. Since the ice comes out with a bit of moisture, it tends to re-freeze together, which then requires some manipulation to get it back to individual cubes. The other option was to buy a new, spendy refrigerator or go out to buy ice. So far, this seems to be a far better choice.

Dont buy

Have had 2 of these. Neither one lasted a year. Manufacturer warranty is horrible. You have to pay to ship it to the company to be fixed.
