Great purchase for the cost

I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of ice produced in a short amount of time. Very easy to use. Having an older refrigerator, I couldn’t justify the cost of repair for my ice maker. I also figure I will recoup the price of this appliance within a couple of months (based on the cost of purchasing bagged ice)

Handy to have

It works well but I gave it 4 stars because the ice tends to stick on the basket causing the full indicator to stop it from making ice. I put a piece of plastic in front of the basket to make the back fit tighter against the area where the ice drops. This is the third ice maker of this type I have purchased. This is my first Fridgidaire brand. Hope it is more reliable than the other two. Hint: All have worked better if the first couple of ice cycles are allowed to fall in the water making the water colder.
