my dog used to love these. the last bag we got, smelled different, were hard to chew, and she wouldn't eat them. i don't know if we got a bad bag or if the recipe was changed. for the price, i won't buy them again.

Recently the quality of the Salmon Bites has deteriorated immensely. I have purchased these for the last few years and bags were moist and smooth and the last two bags recently purchased were dry, chalky and crumbly (with a best by date of 2027). I have emailed Snif-Snax to inquire and have not received a response.

These were my dog’s favorite treats! The last few bags have been very different in smell and texture. I reached out to the company, and they said it was due to a new oven. I have yet to have a bag that is similar to how they previously were. Hoping they will go back to the soft, salmon smelling treats like before! Won’t be continuing to purchase if they don’t.

My dogs (GSD and Husky) absolutely love these! I used to buy the chicken from this brand but it seemed too hard for one of my aging dogs, so this was a great alternative. It’s soft and enjoyable for both of them. Smell is tolerable, and you must reseal the bag to keep them from getting stale too fast! My local club unfortunately doesn’t sell them, as I had first stumbled across them at a diff club, so now I keep them on order to make sure I stay stocked up at all times.

My dog and every other dog at the dog park in the mornings love these! Yes, they are a little smelly (it is fish, after all), but my dog's waywardness is significantly diminished when she knows I have a few of these in my pocket. And, $14.98 for 3 lbs beats hands down the little 4oz bags for $7.99 at other retail sites.

My dog is not pleased with this flavor, she loves the chicken ones but they do not carry them in the store except on occasion. I bought these because I had ordered the chicken ones 10 days ago, to be shipped to my home, they still have not arrived and I ordered a replacement that was to be deliver 2 days ago, and it has still not arrived. As my total for 2 bags of the chicken treats came to 49.96 (4 cents shy of their $50 free shipping) I was charged $8 for shipping. But Sam’s failed to even show the shipping charge on my invoice, the total of 2 bags (49.96) and sales tax were shown, but there was no line item indicating a shipping charge of $8, only a total of $61.xx, very deceptive! There was also no warning that if I spent 4 cents more I would get free shipping while I was shopping! Over all I bought these in the store because Sams can’t seem to get items shipped to me in 10 days. So these cost me an additional $25, I have now spent another $13 on dog treats at my grocery. I paid for the chicken treats 10 days ago and fed ex can’t seem to get it right. The new shipping policy I also felt was unfair to occur during an existing term of a membership, but I have now seen the fine print, again deceptive! I have also seen Sams fail to list the shipping charges. I feel deceived and quite frankly will not renew my membership as they will not deliver to my home and shipping to my home is near impossible! My plus membership expired, but even during its term, I did not even have all the benefits available to me that they offered, but I paid for the membership because of free shipping. Now they charge the rules half way through my term and my membership lost all value! They also, can’t seem to get anything to anyone in a timely manner but they still remain deceptive! I am done with Sams. I hate that because if I could get these treats in the chicken flavor they were my dogs favorite. But, she does not care for the salmon and $25 went down the drain!
