Gave My Dog Gelatinous Poops

Be careful with this one. My 8 month old puppy who never had an accident in his crate pooped 3x in 1 week after I started on these treats. I'm thinking that the salmon oil in them didn't agree with his stomach. Poops were almost a jelly consistency, and smelled horrible. I threw away the rest of the bag.

My dogs love these

TJ's sells a salmon and sweet potato treat that my dogs just go nuts for. I don't even have to cut open the bag, they know. And it isn't just my dogs, it is other dogs too. But they are $4 for a 4oz bag and TJ's is about an hour from me. When I saw these, I was intrigued. The ingredients are pretty similar. These contain salmon, sweet potato, vegetable glycerine and mixed tocopherols (preservatives). The TJ's treats contain salmon, sweet potato, vegetable glycerine, rosemary extract, mixed tocopherols and ascorobyl palmitate (preservative). These are about twice the size and are similar to a cracker in texture. The sweet potato is dusted on. The TJ's are softer and resemble a slice of sausage. My dogs were nuts over both. The TJ's treats would be equal to $16 per pound while these come out to $6.66 per pound.

Great for Chicken Allergies

Ecstatic these are back in stock. My pup has a severe chicken allergy, safe treats are hard to come by since most have chicken by products or are cross contaminated in processing. Have never had any issue with these treats. They are about the size of a half dollar, soft and easily break into pieces if you want to use them for training. They definitely smell like salmon, no missing that ingredient, just in case that is a turn off for the hoomans.

Wouldn’t buy

These treats gave my dogs terrible diarrhea not sure why but all 5 of them loved the bones but I stopped giving them because of the diarrhea. Wouldn’t recommend.

BRING THEM BACK!

My dogs love this treat. Nothing compares. The larger package that used to be stocked at Sam’s is not available elsewhere for the good price and quantity. Please restock this item. It’s a mainstay in our home.

Fishy smell

My big dog loves these but yet she loves everything. I can't stand the smell! I have to really wash my hands really well because if not I keep wondering where that horrible smell is coming from!!!
