[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free bag of Purina Beneful Healthy Weight Dry Dog Food With Farm-Raised Chicken Adult Dog Food for my fu babies to try. It comes in 4 shapes and colors. My boys both were eager to try their new food. They both appeared to enjoy it as they cleaned their dog food bowls out by the end of the day.

We have used this product for years with our three dogs. (2 pugs and a Boston terrier) It has kept their weight under control in a breed notorious for becoming overweight. I have tried more expensive dog food, from Nutro to science diet, but honestly thier coats always look better when they get Beneful.

I can't say Finnigan knows it is healthy weight, but I know it! He just scarfs it up, and his brother, who really doesn't. need healthy weight food, loves it as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My yorkie has a very sensitive digestive tract and we tried all the higher-end low-fat foods...Iams, Science Diet, Nutro, etc and all of them had a fat content that was too high and made her sick. My vet finally suggested Beneful Healthy Weight and my yorkie has been eating it without problems for a few years now.

Our Fox Red is a hard worker who needs to stay busy while our Black one is laid back. They're both very different girls but share their love of Beneful Healthy Weight. Being "grazers", we can leave their bowls out all day. Between them they eat about eleven cups a day and carry a "healthy weight" of about seventy pounds each. Our Vet loves how healthy both are at seven years old. Prior to 2001, when the original beef Beneful was introduced, we fed our Labs Purina Dog Chow. Our previous girls all did fine with that, but we liked both the idea of an upgrade by a brand we trusted and the recipe it used. We migrated to Healthy Weight when it came out. After twenty plus years of enjoying the benefits our dogs enjoy from Beneful products we heartily recommend it to all.
