Having had numerous short haired purpose built hounds I have learned a lot about food. Having tried everything from generic to small batch designer kibble and home made raw meal to Alpo the truth eventually comes out. My dogs: coonhounds, Ridgebacks and an occasional pointer have the best combination of muscle confirmation, energy, overall health and brain power in Iams kibble. This statement extends back 36 years to when I started using it. And that product had a fault, 4% or so too much fat. This product repairs that and remains free if criticism. Well, I do complain that the one folks at Iams no longer make charcoal biscuits.

Typically, she's not terribly excited about dinner time unless we "liven" it up for her with cheese. Not this time - straight down the hatch, and licked the bowl clean!! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Was hesitant on buying as it isn’t cheap, but my dog seems to really enjoy it. He has issues with gas, but this product is super great as he doesn’t have any issues digesting. Would 110% recommend, just wish it was a little more affordable. But if you have the money to splurge it’s worth it!

It is the #1 priority to get them healthy and nourished. I have talked to Veterinarians and others who dealt with needy dogs...and Iams is the name at the top of their lists. The way I spoil my Fur-Kids is embarrassing, but when their life has not been the best from the beginning and they only need LOVE to bounce back, I DO rely on Iams, playtime, cuddling and unconditional love to show them I care. We recently switched our Great Dane over to Iams. Our Dane has been struggling with not having another fiber in his diet and I noticed that Iams fiber intake was higher than most other brands. We love the price point and that we can purchase it local to us.

I have always had large dogs in my house and we have always gone to IAMS for their food. IAMS has always kept all of my dogs happy and well fed. They always have a lot of energy and their bowls are always licked shiny clean. Definitely recommend IAMS and their large breed dry dog food to any pet owners looking for a new brand for their companion!

I bought a big bag of Iams for older dogs as I have 2 Australian Shepard dogs. Katey is 9 yrs old and Jaxen is 2 yrs old and they loved the Iams dry dog food. I could see a difference in their coat it was more shiny and their coat is thicker. They know when it's time for their food and they get excited.

It was almost love at first sight when she saw that bag of dog food come through the front door. She almost devoured her bowl instantly and couldn't wait for more. I didn't really have to follow the transition guidelines as my dog adjust instantly to new food. I would highly recommend this!

i really like the iams brand ....it is such a reliable and great brand of dog food with high quality ingredients at an affordable price...we have 2 big german shepherds and they love the taste and texture of this dog food ...thanks so much for making a great dog food!!
