[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While gradual switching over my boy to iams the final countdown was the best.i mean I couldnt keep him away from his bowl, he became a new dog, with a different outlook on his daily living, he became more energetic, vibrant, you could see the healthy glow in him, to anyone that has a large breed dog, a youngster still, we both recommend this iams dog food FREE from the manufacturer, and when I saw we I mean me and my dog Bruno.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Iam's ProActive Dog Food is nice size nuggets that my dog enjoys. I've bought dog foods that the bits were very small and got all over as my dog, Brody tried eating. As for the smell of the food, it's not an over powering smell. After reading the ingredients on the bag, I was satisfied that this would be a completely healthy meal for my dog. When I opened the bag and was checking out the nuggets, Brody was very interested with it. I gave him a few nuggets and he seemed to think they were a treat. When I fed Brody the food, he was really enthusiastic about eating. Between the ingredients, size of nuggets and smell of the food, I feel I'm feeding Brody something he enjoys, completes his dietary needs and I feel good about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a 15 lb bag of adult dog food from Iams to have my dog try it. My dog is not unusually picky, but he can snub his nose at things he doesn't like. I was afraid he would do this with Iams. At first, he didn't take to it, so I switched half his food and half Iams. I kept adding more Iams and less his food, and now, he loves it! I am thrilled to know my dog is getting a food that is good for him and that he likes!

Our Golden Retriever has been on Iams since he was a puppy. It was what our breeder was feeding, so we just continued using it when we brought Tucker home at 8 weeks old. He was on the Iams large breed puppy formula up until he was 7 or 8 months old and then we switched him to this Iams adult large breed and he has done wonderfully on it. He has a shiny and soft coat, lots of energy, and he is at a perfect weight for his age. He also seems to like this food. He always cleans his bowl. We are huge Iams fans. Our 4 cats also eat Iams cat food and our 10-year-old German Shepherd also eats this Iams large breed formula. We will continue using this food for our dogs! We are actually going to be getting a new Golden Retriever puppy this coming winter from the same breeder we got Tucker from and he will also be on Iams!

My Standard Poodle has been eating this food now for 6 months and is doing SO much better than his previous food. His stools are firm and properly formed, he has very little to no gas now, his coat is soft and full, and he loves the taste as he is excited to eat at feeding times! I would LOVE to see the Large Breed Lamb formula be available in Canada too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am the proud owner of a Newfoundland named Marley. She is a year old and she weighs a whopping 116 lbs! I also have 2 other medium size dogs too. I intended the Iams Proactive Health for Adult Dogs just for Marley. Each time I would feed Marley the Iams my other dogs would snub their food so I had to give them some too. They all love the taste! Usually when I change dog foods it takes their digestive systems to adjust. They all adjusted without incident! I have also noticed I am doing less scooping in the backyard which is also a plus! I will continue to use Iams Proactive Health and I will recommend it to all of my dog loving friends! Iams was recomended to me from initial vet visit when my Boston was a puppy. We feed to a boxer and a boston terrier(mini chunks). Both are in excellent condition and eagerly athletic. The boston has moved onto mature Iams food, she is nine. our Boxer will do the same. Thank You Iams

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm skeptical of changing my dogs food because of his sensitive stomach...but I hear great things about the Iams product and wanted to give it a try for our Americam Bulldog, Skylar. I first started by adding small amounts of the Iams food to his regular food. He seemed to take the new food well. Normally it would upset his belly to the point of puking. By day 4 I was giving him all Iams. He loved it. NO upset belly at all. We rescued our dog at the beginning of this year. He was abandoned in a home that his humans were evicted from. He was thin, dehydrated and scared. Our local humane league nursed him back to health and now he is a very important part of our family. We want only the best for him and in our opinion, Iams food is the absolute best. Our Skylar is happy, healthy and has a beautiful shiney coat. I would recommend Iams to any and everyone. We will only buy and feed our dog Iams food.

So obviously I want the very BEST for her. Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Large Breed is perfect for her! She is very picky about her food (like if i buy something she doesn't like she won't eat for a couple days), but as soon as I put it in the bowl she gobbled it right up! She also has some problems passing really bad gas, but being on this food has really helped her. I wish someone would have told me about this food sooner.
