I received this free from Pinch me and Im glad that I did. I had been considering buying it for a wile but when I ended up giving it to my dog I saw no difference and I was a bit more expensive then my old dogs food so I will continue to use the original food I had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, all I know is that my dog really loves the taste of Iams Proactive Health dog food. I have been gadually adding it to her other food and she eats it with gusto. It's still a bit too early to see if the benefits of the glucosamine have totally kicked in yet. all I know, it that she absolutely loves the taste of this food. And that's a major plus.

My dog can be a somewhat fussy eater at times, and he loved this food. Generally, I feed him while my kids are eating dinner in their high chairs and he will often choose to sit below the high chairs to get fallen scraps before going to clean out his bowl. However, when I put this in he ate it right away. That seems like a winner to me!

Unfortunately, since then, she will only eat it if we mix wet food or table scraps with it; otherwise it sits in the bowl for hours. The same thing used to happen when we fed her Iams in the past. I wish she would eat it happily, but it takes coercion. We never have a problem with the junky brands.

We have tried pedigree before and she always seemed hungry all the time but after trying this Iams brand she seemed happy and full after. We would definitely purchase this and recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kibble in the Iams Large Breed dog food my Cinna is sampling is a little bigger than she was used to. The first few days she kind of picked around it and ate the Iams So Good! food she ordinarily eats first. I feel the size of the chunks are larger and that she doesn't care for them as well. She has been eating it but we keep food out for her constantly and I don't have to fill the bowl as often. I was excited to try a new kind from the brand, but the So Good! is actually cheaper and is a budget friendly option for us that my Cinna seems to love. I have tried other brands of dog food but have consistently returned to the Iams family of products and I was extremely pleased to find the So Good! option to be cheaper but still healthful for my dog.

Our 4 year old male German Shepherd was very lean and we wanted him to bulk up, so we tried a variety of foods for him. High, Mid-range and low cost foods. When we got to the IAMS Active dog , blue striped, food he changed so dramatically. He bulked up to a good weight, his coat was incredibly more shiny and thicker too. He is a different dog. I had always figured that dog food is dog food but IAMS has shot that stupid thinking of mine down 100%. Thanks fo such a nice quality dog food for our three GSD's. Dave

Normally I'm not a fan of changing his food due to his sensitive stomach. The last time I changed his food it upset his stomach. Since it was the same brand I decided to take the chance. Before starting him with Iams Proactive health dog food he was over weight; thanks to my dad. Although he is still a young adult dog I was concern about his joints and health. Looking at the benefits of Iams proactive health was a plus for me . The benefits was just what I needed such as healthy joints, strong bones, healthy metabolism, healthy digestion and most importantly meat is the first ingredient. When I received my free bag from Iams myself and Roscoe was excited. He just knew it was for him. I allowed him to taste it and he loved it at first taste. So now he loves it and will eat the new Iams proactive health over his Iams healthy naturals. But the most important and best part of trying the new Iams proactive health is that I notice he is slimming down. I will make sure to provide update on Roscoe with his final transformation!!
