I like the addition of new fruits and veggies, but it looks like more dried brewers yeast and caramel color were added. Why does my dog need food coloring in her food? Can we have the good veggies and fruits without the added colors and brewers yeast??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little worried about switching my dog, Momma's food due to a sensitive stomach, but she took to Iams Large Breed food right away! We have had skin issues with other brands of food in the past but not with Iam's! Her coat is shiny and soft, she is playful as ever, and she seems to really like Iam's! As long as Momma is happy, our family is happy as well!

I love the price for the quantity and my dog loves it. Its a good quality food for a normal house dog. My pittie has some skin issues and this food actually seems to be a good choice to keep his allergies under control. I tried switching him to other foods and his skin flares up something fierce.

I’m happy to see chicken so far up on the ingredients and it makes me feel good about what I’m feeding my dog!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I opened the package my dog was right there waiting to try the Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Large Breed. I handed him a few morsels and he wanted more; but he had to wait until the next day... I started with a 50/50 mix of previous and the new IAMS. Not one bit left in the bowl. He is now transitioned to Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Large Breed. I'm not sure if he has less of an appetite (due to my husband feeding him treats!), of if he has decided he doesn't like to food. I will continue feeding him the Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Large Breed until it is gone. But I think I will transition back to the IAMS weight control food for my dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very large German Shepherd, who is extremely picky about his food, so I wasn't sure what to expect when Iams gave me the chance to try out the Iams Proactive Health dog food for large breeds, on my dog but he LOVED it! He usually takes forever to eat all his food, but he gobbled this down in no time whatsoever. He likes it because it tastes yummy, but I like it because it's really good for him. It's full of chicken and good proteins and prebiotics that will keep him healthy and strong. I really recommend this Dog food for anyone who has a picky Eater or someone who cares about their pets health. Iams is a really great brand dedicated to keeping your pets healthy, by using ingredients that will keep them strong and active.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iams large breed adult dog food is especially formulated for my Great Dane. Large breed dogs require a different diet than the smaller dogs. Iams fits the bill. Boomer is a finicky eater. I was pleased to see him dive right in. The smell and taste was appealing to him. He ate his full portion and "asked" for more. This alone is enough to convince me to continue serving Iams to my big dog. However, after sampling the entire bag for a week, I know I will keep buying Iams large breed adult dog food for Boomer. His coat was shinier. And, he maintained a healthy weight and healthy lifestyle. Iams is a keeper.

I’m seeing empty bowls each day and she seems full after a meal. As a pet owner I love the price of this product, the quantity I’m receiving, and the ingredient list I see on the bag. I always look for a pure protein to be listed first and wasn’t disappointed with this brand to find chicken listed first. The portions for your pup were easy to find on the bag and follow. I would definitely suggest any large breed dog owners check out this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started feeding my 90 pound Yellow Lab the sample we received free from the brand. it has been 10 days now and she loves it! Its giving her a lot more energy and making her coat really shiny, We followed the feeding guidelines about transitioning to Iams and haven't had any problems so far. I am a lot more comfortable feeding Iams now that I know meat is the first ingredient instead of corn or a by product. Iams is a trusted brand for our household and I love that they have a large breed formula!
