My Standard Poodle has been eating this food now for 6 months and is doing SO much better than his previous food. His stools are firm and properly formed, he has very little to no gas now, his coat is soft and full, and he loves the taste as he is excited to eat at feeding times! I would LOVE to see the Large Breed Lamb formula be available in Canada too!

It was almost love at first sight when she saw that bag of dog food come through the front door. She almost devoured her bowl instantly and couldn't wait for more. I didn't really have to follow the transition guidelines as my dog adjust instantly to new food. I would highly recommend this!

My dog is not unusually picky, but he can snub his nose at things he doesn't like. I was afraid he would do this with Iams. At first, he didn't take to it, so I switched half his food and half Iams. I kept adding more Iams and less his food, and now, he loves it! I am thrilled to know my dog is getting a food that is good for him and that he likes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I received my 15 lb Iams Pro active health large breed dog food the other day. I was so overly excited to try this with my 3 year old Siberian Husky, named Kaine. He has alot of energy and is well, crazy at times. I decided to give him a big bowl of this food and some water when we woke up. Sad to say, he turned his nose up at it! I found this very strange considering that his first year he ate Iams puppy. I think maybe the smell of it just didn't hit it off with Kaine. The food is just brown shaped pieces, all the same texture and flavor, which is chicken. My dog usually is not all that picky with food, but I'm gonna trick him next time and mix it into another bag! I'll let you know how that one goes!

She must know that Iams is a healthier choice as well. We are very happy with the product and plan to continue using it. This is our first time trying Iams and my dog did eat it at first, but then after a few meals was not interested. She usually doesn’t go crazy for eating on a normal day, so maybe this is her normal and not the food! I liked how the food did not smell extensively. Would have appreciated a zipper close to the bag but it’s not a huge deal!

Iams dry large adult breed dog food has kept my dog healthy and active for 10 years so far. He is very energetic and has never had a single health issue. He is a chocolate lab and we have fed him dr iams since he was a puppy. I can’t recommend it more.

I Love that the first ingredient was not corn, which in most cases with dog food, it usually is. That is what I look for with animal products over anything else, the ingredients quality. And with this brand, you all can be rest assured that your beloved pets are getting the proper diet they need. I followed the directions, and started my dog Katana out with a mixture. At first, because of this dreaded heat, she didn't eat much of anything, which has been the case over the past few weeks with her old, regular dog food. But then once I measured out the correct amount with the measuring cup that was also in the package, (as well as an Iams keychain) with just the Iams ProActive, she has been gobbling it up better! My doggy and I approve! To those unsure about the brand, I recommend Iams ProActive Health Large Breed Dog food.

Iams was recomended to me from initial vet visit when my Boston was a puppy. We feed to a boxer and a boston terrier(mini chunks). Both are in excellent condition and eagerly athletic. The boston has moved onto mature Iams food, she is nine. our Boxer will do the same. Thank You Iams
