[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We transitioned our dog, Lucky, from Purina Dog Chow to Iams Proactive Health Large Dog food. He seemed to prefer it over the Purina instantly! Lucky would eat the Iams before he would eat the other that was mixed in it! He's gotten a lil more active since starting Iams as well! #GotItFree!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received a bag of dog food from Iams to try out on our beloved family pet Sophie, the 65 pound lap dog. First and foremost, Sophie loves to eat. Not just like a normal dog. I mean loves to eat. With a three year old in the house she gets a lot of floor food that never seems to make it into the toddlers mouth. Despite all that snacking through out the day, she takes meal time very seriously. And the Iams has cranked that up a notch. Before Sophie gets her morning or evening meals, she has to sit patiently in front of her bowl and wait for an "OK" command before she can eat. Now that we have switched to the Iams, she is instantly a drooling mess waiting for that OK. Seriously, there are days that a paper towel is needed to wipe of the drips of drool on the floor. I haven't tried it myself, but this stuff must taste amazing. Not only does she seem to love the taste of the Iams, but there is a noticeable physical result from the food switch. Her coat looks much better. She has a glow almost. Also, she has a history of sour stomach and occasionally throwing up. Since making the switch that has stopped. Oh, and not to get too graphic, her bowel movements seem healthier. They are firmer for lack of a better term and much easier to clean up. That is a big plus in my book. All in all, I give the Iams high marks for flavor and health benefits. I can imagine ever going back to our old dog food. Besides, I think Sophie might mutiny if we did.

We keep our dogs food stored in an air tight container, the day I dumped our sample bag of Iams into the container our labrador ran right over and started taking bites directly out of the storage container! I promptly filled his food bowl with Iams and he ate the whole thing, where he used to often wait hours. He's loved the Iams since we received it, and I love knowing that it is good for him.

I have tried several brands of food to try and find one that gives my GSD solid stools. Including several Member's Mark foods. I finally found it. I'm really hoping it will help with all his skin issues. If you think your GSD might have EPI, try a quality brand like Iams and see if it helps!

We tried a few different varieties and this is the one he loves. For some reason he just stopped eating the brand that we've been feeding him for years bear struggling to find a new one so we decided to just try everyone and see which one you like and this is it. We've always used Iams for our large breed dogs. The glucosamine helps their joints, especially as they age. They're on Iams from the moment they come to us as pups and we wouldn't use another brand to help us keep our dogs healthy throughout their lives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I have a very high strung finicky eating Great Dane. I received Iam's Large Breed dog food to try from the manufacturer. From the moment I opened the bag my dog knew these were no bland "ordinary" kibble. He "woofed" them down and wanted more. He thoroughly enjoyed them and I liked knowing that I was feeding him a quality dog food. I decided to do nut own compare taste test and switched him back to one of his old brands. He sniffed the kibbles and walked away. I'm sold. Maybe the Iam's brand is a little more expensive but he's definitely worth it. I wouldn't skimp on my kids' food so why should I expect my "fur kid" to be any different. I love my dog and he loves Iam's. That's good enough for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually try to mix half hard food with half soft food for my dog. they usually eat the soft first but with this food the ate it all together, they really enjoyed it and tried to get to the bag wen it was put up. i also see it is helping them keep lean and stick to their diet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 60+ pound pit mix. He is about 10 years old. We had been feeding him a dog food for mature dogs. The problem was the food bits are so small he would often choke. We added a ball into his food to stop the choking. We decided to give the Iams Proactive a try. It was a success from day one. I think it definitely has to do with the bits. They are much larger. Great product & we will buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a food that my dogs enjoy and is healthy for them. IAMS is a great brand and the fact that chicken is the first ingriedient is very important to me. My dogs seem to be happier and have more energy!
