We have been giving the Iams to him for the past week... He seem's to absolutely love it! He eats all of what I give him in his bowl three times a day.. Seem's to be absolutely happy with it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog has had traditional Iams food since the day we brought her home (initially the puppy brand, now the adult brand). She always enjoys eating and will remind me if I am late in putting food in her bowl. She always eats every last piece. I assumed that she would like this new product would be just as enjoyable, if not more so given the emphasis on the first ingredient being chicken. When I first gave her the food, she would take some bites and then would be done. I assumed that she was not feeling well. However, after a few days of that eating pattern (whining for food, eating a few bites, then walking away) I decided to try the original Iams food again. She cleaned her bowl and has every night since, except when I tried the ProActive Health formula again. I really wanted to like this, as I have always had a great experience feeding my family dogs with Iams. However, we will be sticking to the original product, not switching to this one.

I wasn't the only one my dogs were so happy with it the continued to lick their bowl after I served them their food for nearly a week. An it wasn't because they were hungry oh no they had very healthy proportions that they were fed. An their activity levels seems to have increased. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and so are my dogs

I'm not an expert on dog nutrition, but I did research before deciding to try Iams, and Iams is definitely one of the better dog foods you can buy without spending a fortune. I like that chicken is the first ingredient, although I'm not crazy about the use of corn as a filler. This dog food provides great overall nutrition, and my dog cleans her bowl every time. I feel like she's getting a good balance of nutrition without breaking the bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first week of switching my dog to Iams was a bit challenging. As with most pet food switches, we did it very gradually. First, we mixed about 1/4 of the food with 3/4 of her old food. For a while, she would eat around the Iams. By the end of the week though, she was eating it like normal. I didn't notice any stomach problems or any other changes.

We had just bought a bag of IAMS Proactive Health for Large Breed Dogs a couple of days before receiving a bag from IAMS to try for free. It took almost two weeks before Buddy would eat the IAMS without mixing it with anything else. He just didn't seem to want to eat it. So after feeding him two 15 pound bags we switched back to his previous dog food. We were looking forward to being able to switch to IAMS permanently since it's cheaper than his current food.

He was gaining too much weight in the food he was eating and win't eat most healthier dog food. I'm so pleased that this Iams dog food is good for him and he loves it! As soon as I gave him his first bowl he dug right in. I will definitely be buying thus food in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Iiams for over 25 years, unfortunately, I hate the price, but it has always been good for my dogs. Easy on the stomach, great coats, and less poo. I have tried cheaper foods, which have upset my dogs stomachs and the dyes end up staining my carpet. Our Golden Retriever has been on Iams since he was a puppy. It was what our breeder was feeding, so we just continued using it when we brought Tucker home at 8 weeks old. He was on the Iams large breed puppy formula up until he was 7 or 8 months old and then we switched him to this Iams adult large breed and he has done wonderfully on it. He has a shiny and soft coat, lots of energy, and he is at a perfect weight for his age. He also seems to like this food. He always cleans his bowl. We are huge Iams fans. Our 4 cats also eat Iams cat food and our 10-year-old German Shepherd also eats this Iams large breed formula. We will continue using this food for our dogs! We are actually going to be getting a new Golden Retriever puppy this coming winter from the same breeder we got Tucker from and he will also be on Iams!

However, when it is time to eat he always comes to see what is in his bowl sniffs and walks away. He waits to see if he will get leftovers then he will casually munch on his dog food. It takes forever for him to finish. Now, with the Iams he gobbles it up right when we put it in his bowl and has been every day since we got the food I am keeping my fingers crossed to see if this continues and we can say good bye to Mr. finicky!
