The applicator is a small pump and you only need one to get the perfect amount as a little goes a long way and it foams quite a bit. I drink coffee and the occasional red wine and this toothpaste does a good job of removing stains. I did notice my teeth looked whiter after using for a few weeks. I drink a lot of coffee and need to periodically refresh my smile. I like this toothpaste flavor and texture and it works to whitening gradually over time. My only downside is that it doesn't keep my mouth feeling clean and breath smelling fresh throughout the day until evening. How do I know? I have a 5 year old and kids sure will humble you. Anyway it is a great evening toothpaste for me. I'll probably use my 12-hour total care one in the mornings for long days.

While I did notice my teeth looked a little whiter after a few uses I stopped using it. The mint flavor is too strong and it has flouride in it. My teeth were very sensitive after just the few times I used it. It's a definite no for me because of the flouride.

The toothpaste container is well designed since you have to push down to get the toothpaste out, therefore, not wasting more than you need. This toothpaste leaves your mouth feeling extremely fresh and I haven't had any sensitivity which is great! I have yet to see small stains removed but maybe it takes a while for it to take affect. However, it's still a refreshing toothpaste and I'll continue to use.
