We do lots of testing to ensure optimal results, so this isn't the feedback we would expect to hear. There are different kinds of whitening when it comes to oral care products. Most toothpaste and rinse products work to remove the stains on the surface of the teeth, or extrinsic stains. However, stains can also get trapped below the enamel surface. These are called intrinsic stains. The peroxide in our Crest Whitestrips products travels thru enamel to bleach these stains, and the result is a more dramatic color change of the tooth than you would expect to get from using a whitening toothpaste or rinse.
