The absurdity of price gouging - and then increasing prices the closer we get to the 15th of the April just because you know people are trying to wait to file - this is a horrendous hand of greed. I will no longer be participating. Please - for the price of Turbotax - go pay for an actual CPA LOCAL in town, and not some super expensive software group like this.

somewhat disappointed with 40$ processing fee. I paid for software to cover e filing/processing of both Fed and State taxes and ended up paying an additional 60$. For what? I've used Turbo Tax for many years and its a great product but I feel i need to look for alternative tax filing methods next year.

Seems like there is an issue with the 1040ES forms. From what I understand the IRS has not approved the ES forms and the program will not print without a watermark on the forms. I did a little research and found out that the 1040ES for 2024 is now a 1041ES for 2025. I printed the 1041's from the IRS website and now can complete my filing. So, you need to get up to speed with the IRS and the new forms "1041 ES" . First time in 20 plus years that I had a problem with Turbo Tax, and it is not completely your issue, except you get paid to put out a performing service. I stil llike it!

I have used TT for many years and overall have had good experience. It has identified true problems that I was able to solve myself. However, this time there was an error that left me at a loss, so I paid extra for Live Advice. Again, my assistant was competent and able to walk me through and finalize ok, but neither of us could explain the glitch that had dramatically increased my income and taxes. It was different in 2 different locations, when all my original entries appeared accurate. SO my advice is to review all work, because they are not always accurate. Having the opportunity to get live advice is helpful, and they called me back in 5 mins. But I DID have to pay an extra $60.

I have used TT for years and I liked it better before. The new sihnin before you start is annoying and unnecessary. There were 2 errors I found that have not been fixed in the updates. In, one, when you open a new form version and want to give it a name, the line where you type the name will not accept more than one letter. Not good. Secondly, on the Tax Summary page, the Federal area is greyed out and hrdly readable.

Step by Step is clunky. Trying to switch to forms is challenging. The charge to efile a state return is too high. Should also be free. Too many pushes to buy extra items. Don't have all the line item instructions, if they are here they are hidden. Don't like the changes that have happened over the past couple of years. Only reason I continue to use Turbo Tax and haven't switched is file continuity from year to year.

I had to communicate with TurboTax as my import from Morgan Stanley did not succeed without problems. The individual who supported me in fixing did it with persistence, patience and professionalism. It took some time but was completely satisfied with TurboTax technician. I have used TurboTax for many years without issue, nice to know support is there when needed!!

Have used Turbo Tax for years. This has been the WORST!!! Multiple errors kept coming up. Had to uninstall and reinstall twice and each time lost all entered information. Numerous times would not install updates. Will be looking at alternatives next year.

I do not understand why every year I get an error message registering TurboTax and accessing the TurboTax update site. I use WiFi with a standard internet carrier and every year it is the same struggle. It is getting more frustrating each time. There is no decent help online to explain this. Please fix it.

I dislike having to decline the extra fees multiple times during the processing of the returns. I am unhappy that the price has gone up not only on the program, the state filing fee, and that you now charge for advice when that was included with the original purchase price. You not only when up, but you went up by about 60%!
