My review required buying a Turbo Tax Digital copy. I attempted using your online free addition, but ran into uncharted territory , Old people aren't IPHONE Savvy enough to complete tax forms using Phone camera to create documents needed to complete tax forms.

When downloading the files from my investment firm, doubling files were downloaded causing errors in the tax amount, and also one error in the data, compared to my printouts direct from my investment firm. Luckily, I spotted all the errors. I also had to manually sum up the foreign country dividends corresponding to the tax I paid. (This information is available in the files transmitted.) There were several items I had to manually edit in the forms during final "review." Those should have been clarified during the initial data review.

I had submitted a review earlier out of frustration due to being unable to submit and pay taxes. After a little time and effort speaking with several Product Specialists; Kimberly and Raquel, they were able to find the fix due to needing updates on my computer. I appreciate their help greatly.

It is very convenient to be able to download the W-2, 1099, 1098, etc. data from online sources. I am outraged that you charge $25 to e-file the State tax return form. I am ok with a nominal fee, I have $10 that I could use for that but I would rather lose the $10 than gift you $25 for something that should be included or have a nominal $10 cost to it.

Please stop all of your internal advertising! I am being asked to upgrade Turbo Tax multiple times and purchase other features that I am not interested in while using your product, that I purchased for a significant amount of money. Ever since you required me to enter an email address, I receive solicitations from you almost every day and ended up blocking your emails. I am considering changing to another Tax company because of your excessive advertising.

very unhappy with the amount of effort to verify the software and not happy that it is no longer offered in CD format but only by download. the software itself works once you finally get it downloaded and installed. do not like the increase for state e-file either.

Generally a fine product. I've used TurboTax pretty much since it was created many years ago. I also use my own spreadsheets to gather the minutiae tax info into TT's categories and product similar tax forms. An exception is that TT seems unaware that one can legally meet RMD requirements by taking the whole RMD from just one of several IRAs; he need not take a minimum RMD from each IRA. Net is that I had manuever TT into doing the right thing, which was an annoying exercise.

Using Turbo Tax to prepare my 2024 return was much more difficult than in years past. Many more questions, redundancy checking and asking for rechecking of information already entered. It almost seemed as if the software was changed to encourage getting fees on "online tax experts". Had to wait a long time for an update that would allow the entering of 1099s. Couldn't even electronically file without it failing only to find that there was another update required because of an error, Could have been warned to check to updates prior to attempting to electronically file.

Income tax is a nightmare. Getting the TurboTax software onto my computer started the nightmare and it didn't get any better as I progressed through the process. Then there was the final ordeal... trying to get TurboTax to actually submit my two returns. The hidden fees didn't help. It used to be a lot easier.

It is great software and a great experience. It's user friendly and makes a very complex task simple. The question prompts it walks you through while completing the return are easy to understand and answer. Plus the fact that it brings last year's over saves a lot of time and entry. Plus it covers everything and is accurate.
