I tried filing and my return was rejected due to an issue with the car dealer not filing my EV paper work correctly. They then filed the paperwork and I resubmitted my return. Turbo tax indicated that my return was now accepted only to find out 2 weeks later the IRS denied it because the VIN apparently did not match their records and I had to pay $4,300 in taxes instead of getting a $3,200 refund. IF that was the issue then Turbo Tax should have rejected my return again

I love the question "did you inherit this stock from Schwab?" Schwab hasn't died yet, but I'm still hoping... Have to laugh at the idea that I can get comments from other users to figure out what's wrong. What's wrong is the program, but Turbotax doesn't seem interested in learning about that.

I bought a MAC version and was not able to print my Extension request because Turbo Tax wouldn't work with my printer. Eventually Turbo Tax fixed the problem which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 or none. I may not use Turbo Tax next year due to the printing problem.

I have used TurboTax for about 15 years or more and have always been very satisfied with each experience. But somehow this year was different. Somewhere along the way an added income amount appeared from an unknown source. That upped my income by thousands of dollars and calculated my taxes due by a huge amount. Then I filed 1040X and achieved a refund. Some of the processes this year were not quite as step by step as in the past. Also it all had to be downloaded with no disc to save.

When I filed my 2024 taxes, I chose the option to have what I owed to the fed to deduct it from my state refund. Turbotax DID NOT deduct the amount and I just received a notice from the fed that I still owe them plus interest and a penalty. THANKS A LOT TURBOTAX. NOT!

2024 was an impossible tax return to file. I am permanently disabled, finalized my LONG divorce December 2023, and have a daughter in medical school. My ex has refused to cooperate with filing of tax returns for the last 15 years. Each year, turbo tax has been a big help while I had incomplete information. Thank you.

Been using Turbo Tax for years. Usually Love it. This year I had an issue with the import of one of my financials where it failed during the import. I imported it a second time successfully. Later (after filing) I noticed there were 2 entries for the same account of the same amount. This should have been picked up in the validation or during the second import of the same name.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years and have never had any complaints, EVER! This year, my situation changed and was a little more complicated. I purchased the Deluxe that included some assistance from a real person. I am so glad I paid the extra $. It came in helpful when I was ready to file and had some issues. I then reached out again to have someone review my taxes before I submitted them. Again, so helpful!! I give my experience this time a 12 out of 10!

It was very difficult to determine whether my taxes were e-filed or not. Even after going back 10 days later to see why tax payments were not deducted from my checking and going through the e-file steps a second time, a confirmation screen was visible, but I was unable to print the confirmation that both state and federal taxes are now filed.

Hi, been using Turbo Tax for 12-13 years Only way to go. Having said that 2024 has been a little different. After finishing my return and filing and getting an "acceptance" notice, I received an IRS Notce CP 5071 requesting that I provide identification of my identification. Using the IRS website has been a disaster even though the website confirms that my tax return was processed and the refund is correct. There must be a disconnect between Turbo Tax authentication (DL and PIN) and IRS requirements.
