It is unnecessary and a burden for those who are already using Windows 10. We all use anti-virus and other protections and this just seems like a windfall for Microsoft that you are assisting. Same for having to print from Acrobat. I don't remember having to do this before. I could save to Acrobat, but print from he page. These are two really bothersome changes.

Difficult to read; can resize for screen everything; information popups too small and basically with out info. I have used Turbo Tax for 15 years and it has devolved -- I did not trust that it produced a correct result. bells and whistles without readability, informative, accessibility, and it asked too often for me to upgrade! I purchased the TurboTax Deluxe Desktop Edition 2025, Federal & State Tax Return [Win11/Mac14 Download] product, which includes 1 state tax filing. However when I tried to file my taxes it would not let me proceed without paying $25 for state filing. This was already paid for with the deluxe product. How do I get my refund ?

This may be my last year using TurboTax. If Intuit takes TurboTax to Online only next year like they they are, I will go to another product like TaxAct who says they will ALWAYS offer a standalone version of their product. I have been using TurboTax since 1984 with Version 1.0a so this is a huge disappointment. Intuit's choice. Standalone version and keep Customers or Cloud-based only and you've lost a lot of people like me.

In the past, once your itemized deductions amount were greater than the standard deduction, the program automatically used the larger number in computing the overall taxable income amount. The handling of State return has issues related to the reporting of school tuition contributions. The system believes that everyone is making contributions to schools. You can't get through the review process for the state forms without putting something in the various boxes.

Messed up my state filing TWICE! First it allowed me to exceed a limitation on deductions. Then they send me an email telling me that I had to amend my return. I open the app, download the update, reopen the app and it AUTOMATICALLY changed my return amount in the state filing. When I filed my amended return it then said I owed nothing. That's not true. I owe $526 due to their mistake. Also the stupid AI review bot loses its mind if you try and type more than 20 words per minute. It sounds like Intuit is heading into the toilet all around. I am done with TurboTax.
